Mission: Bunker Buster (Nemesis mission)

Bugs:
  • Character freezes for several seconds after each cut scene
  • Heavy Lag at end fight: During the mission's end fight, lag built up to the point of unplayability for me. My laptop can usually handle the game at max video settings with no problem. Yet during this mission, even at minimum settings, I could barely move or attack, and managed to finish it only after several attempts (dying) by drawing out my Nemisis and fighting here 1 on 1.


Has anyone one else experienced these issues during this mission?

I had my character freeze twice during this mission recently (early last week) but haven't had any lag issues.

The bug with the long pause where you can't move also happens in other instances, in Bunker Buster only
very often since it has so many cutscenes.

The lag .. yeah its really bad often now. I wonder if that has something to do with all the new aura-items
that a lot of NPCs now use there.

Also the lag does slow the client down in general, so if you don't restart after bunker buster you will get
more and more lag in other instances.

Didn't get the freezes, but the lag was horribad in the end battle, so much so that I died before I knew it. I too am playing on a laptop, that usually only slows down during Clarence fights, but this was far worse. It does seem much worse than last time I played it.

The freezes are a random problem that can happen in all instances after cutscenes. It started maybe 2 months ago.

yes. 2 times over the last week or so. however, ran it last night, and no issues :/

Well...the mission seems to have a new bug. Since the "overhaul" the Nemesis cannot be defeated and the mission is unable to be concluded. At least that's what happened to me two times. My Nemesis got to Zero HP, stopped fighting, but nothing else happened.

I managed to defeat the nemesis and did not have any lag or freezes, however I picked up the soldiers in the barracks and now it says I did not and I can not pick the soldiers up or secure the hall and finish the mission.

Same exact problem... yesterday.

Has anybody been able to complete it since the patch or are we stuck in this mission? I've tried to drop it twice but everytime I zone it immediately gets assigned to me again without consulting the contact or crime computer.

On top of that, my bug report timed out.

DISAPPOINTED!

Possible solution:

- a friend of mine told me, he changed his Nemesis from "Munitions" to "Fire" and after that it worked for him.
- Mine is "Darkness" and I will try it out too now.

Stay tuned for my next report on this ;)

*EDIT: Ok :) just tried it and it worked for me! What I did:
- changed the Nemesis' powerset to "Fire"
- changed the minions to "Burning Lackeys"
- changed the minion powerset to "Fire"

Now having finished this mission I can change it back, for "Dark Magic" is a lot cooler ;)
