I have sever alt-itis and am addicted to the Tailor. What you are about to see is the product of many many hours of boredom. My characters are mostly of a modern design - meaning a lot more detail to the costumes.
I also like to pick a certain color scheme for each character and stick with it, as opposed to having costumes all different colors. I tend to go with a dark color base, and some of the pics do look overly dark cuz the lighting in the Tailor isn't too great (especially on the ones I used the true black on).
Not sure why, but I just don't really play male characters. Besides tanks (which I don't have one yet, should get on that). /shrug. I had a few, mainly bestial, that I've deleted.

Your costumes are nice, but have you thought of doing maybe one superhero that doesn't look like a supervillain?

I've thought about it, haha. I probably should put the Golden Age set to better use.
Zevore and Amariel are just supposed to be "badass". Morrigan and Neza are kind of along the lines of a "redeemed" villain sort of.
I might do a more classic look for one of Violet's other costumes.

Lol I agree that they tend to look rather evilish =p. Its okay everyone has their tastes, and to be honest antiheroes are my favorite characters, usually with the most depth.
Theme apart, I am not totally a fan of true black... also do you have post-processing off?? or its just the tailor too dark??
I liked basic Morrigan, makes me wish at times to buy those scars, they are so darn good.

Yeah I have post-processing off. My laptop is crap. Hopefully Santa bought my wishlist on Newegg so I can build a sexy PC.
Elvish is kinda my style... always rolled Night Elf or Blood Elf in WoW. I need to make more male characters, but something that's badass... is always moreso if it's a woman. Haha.
The only reason I used the true black on a few of them is because I have the brightness turned up in-game (way too dark in buildings), and dark gray doesn't look black enough.

I know what you mean with female characters, just look at my roster on my signature rofl. I tried in the past doing males, but I just seem to suck really bad at it, don't know why, I guess its lack of inspiration/motivation. That and bestial characters... yeah I got zero skill for furries... and aliens!!! xD.
Back on topic, yeah true black its all about taste. For me it kills the texture of the clothing (except on metal) and therefore the character loses detail. Its a tricky color, and also a personal choice.

I think besides Captain Wonderful and the "Inspector Gadget" styled toon I had (but deleted), the only male toons I've had have been bestial or aliens, lol. One thing I don't like is how hard it is to get the male model proportioned to be normal. Either it's too bulky or too skinny.
I have do have Unarmed cyborg Martial Artist that I need to add here... but not sure if I wanna keep him yet.
