Seriously.

Let us take the additional ranks earlier. I find it pretty silly that you can only take the last rank of a travel power when most of your traveling is over.

Suggestion:

11: Rank 2
21: Rank 3

Simple.

I'm tired of being forced to crawl around at a snails pace when leveling my 30th alt. Its pointless. I sit on single advantage points all the time that I cannot be bothered to go back and spend since everything worthwhile costs 2 points.

Let us use these points.

Let us rank up our travel power speeds much earlier.

There is a nice way around this: Dark Speed is always at rank 3 and you can get it at any level. ;)

I have never understood this limitation. What's so special about travel power ranking that they're the ONLY powers in the game with level limits assigned to their rank? You can get every single other power at rank 3 the moment you take it, assuming you have the advantage points available, but have to wait till lv 20 (the level most people start to stop playing their alts) to get rank 2 for your travel powers and level 40 (cuz you really need all that extra speed once you're done leveling ) for rank 3.

They could eliminate all level requirements for all I care. They make no sense, at all. Also...

I'm fine with them gating the first rank to 20 (though a move to 15 for it would be reasonable), but I'm confused as to why you have to wait until all the way to 40 to get R3. I can get that it may be for when the level cap was supposed to be 50, but that hasn't been the case for a while now (and likely not for a while yet) that it seems kind of pointless to back-end the second speed increase quite that far out.

25 or 30 would be more reasonable there, IMO.

It's always felt to me that by the time you get rank 3 you don't quite need it anymore. At the same time you get the ability to unlock rank 3, they open up an alternate travel method, so at 40 you have fast travel from M. City via the UNITY building so going from jet to jet isn't such a big deal anymore.

I've always been a fan of the travel ranks on the 15s. Rank 2 at 15, rank 3 at 30

I would not mind in the least getting R3 earlier than 40. But I disagree about most of your traveling is over at 40. Every time I dedicate to accumulate UNITY missions I'm glad for R3, since they are spread in the most distant corners of every map.

If that reeeeallly bugs you too much a temporary workaround I use while leveling is to have the become Destroid Commander device (as a Dark Speed user, it's better - just not as fun) on whatever alt I'm actively working on. The transformation is instant, the fastest flight available of all travel powers, and if you feel like working another alt you can mail it to the new one, unlike DS which becomes bound.

That being said, R3 at a slightly earlier lever is something I wouldn't oppose.

R3 at level 30 would be great i think ;)
