Just like the title says, will players with both CO and STO subscriptions or Lifetime memberships be able to spend both stipends in the C-Store of one game or the other? In essence will the CP's go to the same pool?

I imagine it will be like it is now, the stipends will only show up for the game they're given for. From what I understand if you have an STO and CO account now your monthly stipend will only show up in CO. I image they'll continue to do this for both game once F2P on STO hits. The reason be is combining the pool could be exploited. Say I have an STO account that I purchased the lifetime for and I play CO under F2P. Now I stopped playing STO cause I found it kind of boring but my account is active because I purchased the LTS. Everyone month once STO goes F2P Cryptic will be adding 400 C-Points to my account. If they're completely linked I now have a way to get stuff I want in CO without paying a dime. Not a good idea in my opinion.

Gods I would love this. I've pretty much quit STO due to the whole pay-to-win crap that's coming out now in the C-Store over there* - but I still love CO and it'd be nice to still get something out of my STO LTS.

But I doubt it, simply because anyone in my situation will probably never need to spend real money in the C-Store again at that point; well barring an epic slew of things I MUST HAVE NAO - which is always possible.

That said I am totally cool with the possibility and would in fact be greatly pleased with it. >.> (It would certainly go a long way toward smoothing over my grouchiness about STO.)

*And I swear if that kind of thing comes to CO, I'm done with the company as a whole. I love Cryptic games for the most part, I genuinely like the developers; but there are things that are just going way too far. CO's C-store is fine as-is, I'm just saying if we get to the point where we're buying extra talent points or whatnot... yeah I'm done.

Have they come out with a matrix for F2P STO? The points that golds/lifetimers get for CO are for CO only. If they were to add a stipend for STO, it would be for STO only.

I guess it is getting closer to the end of the year. Either way, the points will be separate.

Hmm, so apparently once STO goes F2P, the primary reason to subscribe will be access to the foundry? Good thing I dont have an LTS there.

Yeah, it seems like the only real restrictions will be how big your bank and inventory are, as well as how much money (energy) you can hold. As well as absolutely no access to the Foundry. Seems like a real win for F2Pers in STO without spending a dime.

Yep. that's what a lot of us over there are saying. If we didn't already have a LTS we'd just be silver. They really need to revise the matrix, as it stands there is absolutely no reason to be a subscriber.

But what are you really going to remove from it? I do not see anything they could remove myself.
