Thought I'd show off my latest champion, one I'm very happy with. So without be going on any longer, here's Komrade.
Komrade Full View
And just for good measure, a slap-dash photoshop job with slightly higher production value:
Komrade! Champion of communism!
So the basic premise behind Komrade for those who are interested, is a russian superhero who got started during the later years of communism who has now ended up in America to show people that he is a good man fighting for the common people despite his political beliefs. He hopes that the general view on communism in America can gain more acceptance through his good deeds. He recognises the flaws of communism and blames most of them on bad leadership, he does not support an armed revolution but rather the enlightenment of the people to bring about an organic change in government without violence. He is a kind and brave man but is set in his ways and readily spreads his political agenda to anyone who will listen, as well as point out the flaws in other systems in an effort to help people see hiw way of thinking.
He is an ego blade character I'm working on, still haven't ironed out the perfect build yet as I'm basically just experimenting with it. I'm very happy with the costume and the powers are fun so far, most of all I love roleplaying with him. As someone who is not a communist it's been very interesting to learn more about the system and get into the mindset of someone who supports it. It's a bit more of a challenge than most of my characters.
So that's Komrade, suggestions for alternate costumes or feedback is as always appreciated.

Have a look at this, it's just using the middle stripe pattern for the legs as well - I think the edge you have there with the briefs pattern is a bit jarring:

Oh yeah, I also put a black edge around the hammer and sickle to make it stand out a bit more, and used a slightly lighter shade of red to get closer to the old soviet flag's colour.
Oops, almost forgot: I like your Komrade, I like him a lot :)

I've been playing around with the costume and I just don't feel the middle stripe on the legs for some reason, I feel like the balance of red and gray works better this way with the boots and gloves. I'm not trying to be stubborn or negative towards your input in any way, but I don't think I'll be changing the briefs pattern, at least not to that particular pattern.
As for the colours, you do make a fair point about remaining close to the soviet flag colours, but I just prefer the more mutdet colours myself, with the way light works in the game I think the brighter ones tend to be a bit glaring and unpleasant to look at in comparison.
The emblem suggestion I might use actually, at least look at more closely. I like it all yellow, but the edge may give it a bit more definition.
At any rate, thank you for the input, I appreciate it even if it's not something I agree with in this case.

I prefer a more subdued color scheme as well, so I think the red color you've chosen works nicely. Have you tried giving him a belt, maybe in the same color as the symbol? I think that might bring the costume together. I support stjobe's idea of giving the symbol a darker edge, too. It'll stand out more. Overall a nice look.

Thumbs up for tights!

Yes, very nice. I don't agree with stjobe (for like the first time ever!), I think it looks cool broken up with the "underwear" pattern. Looks like a conscious decision, and it looks good.
By the way, what's that neck piece you're using?

It's the Luchador one. Very cool piece to use in tights. :D

Yeah that's the luchador neck piece. I wanted a different collar but there isn't a tight fitting collar in the game so I went with that one, I like how it looks though. If we ever get some tight fitting collars I'll probably do a slightly heavier verison of the outfit, with sort of a padded leather jumpsuit feel as an alternate outfit.
As for a belt, that's a good idea that I might go with, at least look at in the tailor. I like having tights without belts but you have a point about it tying the costume together with the colour scheme, consider it on my "Strong maybe" list.
Speaking of alternate outfits. I'm having trouble coming up with anything. As an ego blades character he's pretty flexible in terms of clothing, as he doesn't need any specific gear to use his powers. I was thinking of kind of a modern ninja thing, kind of like a communist gray fox, but I haven't been able to make something I really like. A light power armor is also on my maybe list.
I've already got a civilian outfit worked out, and a suit is a no brainer. But any ideas for alternate costumes would be great, I love having different costumes for different situations, combat related or social.
