I bought various devices in the C-Store and wanted to send them to another Character of mine. Yes, it was my fault i made a mistake in the adress line. I accidently switched the handle and the character name. The mail was sent, the items gone and they can't be restored to me because of "various reasons". Is that customer friendly? I think not! Shame on you, i will quit playing!

Ok, sounds perfectly reasonable, otherwise everyone would "accidentally" send items to the wrong person and then get another copy from costumer support.

What happens if you mailed an item but put the wrong address? Whose fault is that? You can't demand the post office take it back from the person...

Sure my fault, but the handle i typed in does not exist! So the mail has gone into the nirvana! There should be a text like "this handle does not exist" or something like that. I even cant contact the possible player i sent my devices to, because there is no such player!

Yar, I've done the same thing. Lost some (luckily, pretty common) costume unlocks when I bumped my keyboard which accidently removed the address and replaced it with gibberish...
I cursed myself for being so careless and moved on...
I must say though, it did bother me a bit that the mail was sent even though the recipient address was invalid and non-existent. I would have thought the system would have realized that there was no valid player in the address bar and popped up with an error...
But the fault was still firmly on me...

I could have sworn it rejects mails sent to players that don't exist. I know I have gotten error message in the past when typing in a handle wrong.

And they can not tell me they are not technically able to restore items of all kind. But we are only dumb customers. Its not ok that paid items can be "deleted" in that way and you have to buy them again!

This isn't their fault by a long shot. If the items did indeed get sent through to the wrong person then how about sending them a message saying "Crud that was a mistake, if you haven't used that stuff yet could you be a bro and send them back to me?"
