I'd like to see an alternate landing implemented for Acrobatics. Maybe a roll when you fall from a higher height instead of the current screen shake and cracks in the ground that there currently have. I'd like to think of my acrobatic characters as more light on there feet than the current tank hitting the ground animation they currently have.

I think a similar (if not the same) landing should apply to Swinging as well. The SuperJump/RocketJump BOOM doesn't fit the athleticism and finesse of these Travel Powers.

I'd also like to see fall damage reduced while acrobatics is active. It seems as though it would make sense that if you roll into a fall that you would take less damage.

What we really need is some kind of extra option with our stances, to identify how our character moves. Graceful, Strong, etc...
It'd affect all the Travel Powers based on what we select...
I'm not sure if it could be implemented though... Might be bothersome to add more to the already heavily laden Character Creation menus..

I'm completely on board with this, although honestly I would be happy to just see the cratering removed. No reason an acrobat should leave a crater after a fall from any height, but at R2 you leave one with every jump. :(

Yeah, that's bugged me for over two years now. It's really hard to play a graceful ninja- I feel like I'm always playing The Tick.

I whole-heartedly agree, it's really annoying to try playing a character with finesse when you jump up and float like a butterfly, and then land like a blue whale. I think this change should go for both acrobatics and swinging. I'm not even sure the average human body is capable of cracking concrete like that without also doing harm to the person, and a lot of people who take acrobatics and swinging are the 'human' characters who have little to no powers and thus, no excuse for breaking the ground like Grond would.

However, if they implemented a landing animation where you literally rolled forward and back into your run just like in this game, as an example, that would be splendid.
(to see the animation, just jump out the first window. Right when you land, you'll see the character roll on the ground.)
