'Cause that's where I tend to roll up an alt.
I think it's primarily because I like Millennium City too much- compared to MC, the Desert and (to a lesser extent) Canada just feel... kinda empty. And since most of my characters are more at home in the city than anywhere else, I really have a hard time playing the rest of the game. I really wish it was possible to level all the way to 40 without having to spend so much time elsewhere (like Monster Island, or Lemuria, or even Vibora Bay).
Anyone else running into this?

I was actually thinking that today as I was swinging around doin nothing in particular in MC....
it would be cool to have a lot more interactive city alltogether.
.... more bank robberies, muggins, villain attacks, anything.
and a note to the devs: I'm, mind controlling you now...you will make motorcycles for me..... I want to cruise on an OCC sled round town... carry on.
doo eet.

Canada is my favourite place to go.
I usually lose interest around the level 33 mark when I'm all out of quests and have no way of leveling save PVP (which I dislike immensely)

And before anyone mentions is yes I know I could level in Lemuria, but I'd rather stare at my monitor screen then go to that place. I only unlock the crisis so I can complete my nemisis missions.
Just so we're clear.
I hate Lemuria. Almost as much as the Vibora Bay crisis, snooze.

Being able to level in the city would be nice for some toons though some (like spider man) don't often leave the city, for obvious reasons.

Level 20 and up is where the fun begins. Where you hero really starts to stand out and his powers round out.

normally, I can keep myself interested in levelling until 30 ish. I cannot -stand- monster island or lemuria...doesn't even really seem like MONSTER island anyway, they should rename it furry island.
But that's besides the point.
Yeah, would like more interactive stuff in MC, as thats one of the more interesting zones imo. Would kill for another city though, like a neo-japan or something. We need moar sci-fi/future tech looking areas.

Just to give you an idea of this:
I have 5 40's rapidly approaching 6 with a level 39.
Then there's a level 30
Followed by 3 characters all at level 25
A random level 22 character,
And then 9 characters that have reached level 20. The rest are all below 20.
With the thing about MC being much more content than Canada or Desert, you are mostly right I think; You spend most of pre-level 15 fighting in West Side, which is chock-full of side contacts and secret missions, as well as three simultaneous arcs on a city map that's easier than most other locales to navigate and more orderly.
Or it could just be that it's the instance you start in. And the missions you begin to get around the mid 17 range of level are in the City Center area and have a combination of really good instanced missions and a fair supply of open-map instances. And of course, random bank robbery missions. Yay.
