Trying to reactivate my account with my visa debit and I get the following error "Could not find a currency for this transaction, please contact us for support here.". Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I was playing last night on all my golds and I login tonight and all my freeforms are barred. I was into the live chat with a person who in the end said to try again later as they couldn't find anything wrong. Still trying and still failing. Trying with Amex, Visa CC and Visa debit. No luck.

in an effort to clear things i deleted all my old payment methods which cancelled the sub. i then went to re-activate and the same error comes up. Cannot find a currency for this transaction. If anyone has any ideas they would be welcome.

bump.

I seem to be able to buy 500 CP in the cash shop so I know my card if fine. The issue really seems to be on Cryptic's end.

I did. The response was to try again later, which I also did. I the updated the ticket with new information stating that I can buy CP but not re-activate. I was really trying to find out if anyone has the same problem.

I bet I know what your problem is, its trying to bill the public test shard and when it does I got the same error you did, atari support had to take the PTS off so I could pay for Gold, then they added it back on manually after i went Gold again.

Dear lord, someone understands!!! This is exactly what is happening. I'm glad i stuck to my guns and made a post about this. Is the best thing to do to edit the ticket and let them know only the test shard is visible or create a new ticket?

I had the idea of going in game, creating a silver toon and then clicking subscribe on the c-store button. My account page then opened up and the form was populated with the correct sub info. i subbed again at the 6 month rate and now I'm gold again. i don't know if they did anything as I haven't heard from support for about 10 hours or so but I'll assume for now that going through the game systems seems to have tripped a swith somewhere.
