How about a travel power that makes you slide constantly until stopped? After stopping the power, you slow to an inertial halt.

Well as far as I know the physics for that is already in game, just ground the ice slide power and give it new FX

could always get around that just by binding your travelpower with the autorun button.

I was thinking of a new travel power mechanic with maybe skating or skateboarding type animation to go along with it. If a travel power is not enough for you, maybe an attack that slows enemies and/or NPC's and then gives you a stacking kinetic slide power (or speeds up your active travel power) without a combat nerf. The more you stack, the faster you travel.

Sounds like a cool idea.

And is it wrong that the song 'Electric Slide' started playing in my head when I read this post?
