Well, I'm using a very offensive AoPM enrage build electric toon with enrage (no, it's not Pulsewave's clone, I have this toon for 2 months now) and while on the dummies test on PH, I noticed Leo doin 1k damage per tick of Lightning Arc on the level 40 dummies.

My arc does about 500 damage up to 1k on the end of the maintain, which is not bad, but wtf was he doing to achieve 1k PER TICK? It was not even scalating, it was 1k - 1k - 1.4k crit - 1k.

My enrage buffs me for around 24% per stack. My damage is still kinda meh compared to other AoPM enrage builds, for instance, my Gigabolt tap does about 800 damage on a non defensive passive built toon, and about 1.3k crits. I see people doing 1.3k normal hits and almost 2k crits.

My gear is VERY good, I spent tons of globals on it (80/13 for primaries defense and utility, 94 for defense, 34's and 23/14 for secondaries). My str is almost 350.

What is wrong with damage scalation? Or it's just me?

Several things he could have been doing to raise his damage further.

Any of the click offense abilities like lightning sheath, immolation, etc. will boost that up.

He may have used ritual of storm calling to debuff the lightning resist of the dummies.

Also are you in guardian or support role? There is a 20% dmg loss in support vs guardian.

Don't only focus on buffs.

Debuff stacking can be just as powerful - and often more so - in CO.

Electric Form will be +70% to base damage, and Avenger role will be 20% on top of total damage.

Edit: Also, had you applied negative ions first with a different power? He may also have used Electrocute with advantage and Lightning Arc's advantage.

No, he dont use DW or infinite CCs or imbued FCs and sigils or stealth spam. Just AoPM, which was always there for picking. And I respect him for that. Heh.

My lvl 37 Elec toon, Armandra, ticks 800+/- w/ giga, and initial ticks of lightning arc (r3 of course) start around 700 and go above 1k toward the end of the maintain (lvl 40 practice dummies), and she has pretty crappy gear atm (I never bother gearing w/ decent/nice stuff until the toon hits 40). She runs in avenger w/ Elec form, of course.
