Was wondering. If i use illumination on myself and have regeneration as my passive would the illumination buff on myself boost the healing effect from regeneration passive? Illumination says, "if cast on target, (or self), increases the amount of "direct healing" they receive. Now i may be wrong, but I'd consider regeneration passive a "direct heal" since it's targeted on myself at all times and "directly" heals me. And if this isn't the case then what the heck exactly is a "direct heal"? I've looked best i can on net. Can't find any answers. Any help here from someone who knows the answer to this puzzling question for sure would be MUCH appreciated.:p

While I pretty much doubt Regen works with Illumination (I would classify a "Direct Heal" as anything you actively use and/or requires a specific target), even if it does Illumination provides a 1-3% healing increase based on rank. Hardly worth wasting a power over.
If you're not using Illumination as a way to chain Celestial Conduit (which is pretty much its only purpose), then don't pick it up. The healing buff is trivial at best, and Mend isn't very significant.

ty 4 reply. it was something i was curious about simply because it's not quite so clear. In a sense regen could be considered a direct heal. but even if it was you are right about illumination not being worth the power waste just for a 1-3% increase in heal. Thanks again for your reply. I'm always trying to find new combos to fit together but i think i'm gonna pass on that combo, really isn't worth fiddling with.:p
