There are lots of block powers and the default block in which you raise a single arm to block, with a bracer costume piece that resemble a shield it would fit perfectly. Not only the animation when you evade an attack with Lightning Reflexes is the same as a block implying that if you have a shield on your bracer slot and you are using Lightning Reflexes you actually look like you're blocking an attack in other words you evaded the attack by blocking it.

I really don't know why shields have not made it to the bracers yet. It's not Marvel copyright as long as you don't have shield slinging around.

(I also want some alternate single blade animations so you can make a sword-and-board character without looking confusing as all get-out. "Fear my European kendo-flynning-incomprehensible-fighting style that doesn't make sense!" >.> Course I also want better animations for if you are going for kendo too...)
