After some test I cant be sure that this power (ego storm) could crit??!!! Think never saw a crit on it, and also, I never saw any using malevolemnt manifestation.

So,

.- can you tell me if this power can crit?
.- Can you tell me if this power, with adv malevolent manifestation, could crit?

Thanks a lot!

As a maintain (i.e. without advantage), each tick against each mob is calculated separately with regards to crits (but yes, it can crit). As a DoT (i.e. with advantage), the crit calculation is done one time at the beginning for each mob, so if it crits once, it will crit every tick against that mob. With Imbue and the advantage, every tick against every mob should crit. With imbue but no advantage, the first tick against each mob should crit, but not the later ones (unless they happen to crit independently because of your Dex-based crits). Strangely, sometimes only the second tick crits and not the first.

Also, when I say "each mob", I am referring the the original targets. Ego Storm is cool because if a target dies, it will continue ticking against a new target. I do not know what happens with crits and the new targets.

Ey Thanks for the help didnt think to test it with imbue so ..

I imbued the power and it didnt crit when it got the adv. (malevolent manifestation) Also, with it, it dont apply any on hit effects.

I tried without the adv, I found what you say, everyhit got a chance on crit and just apply the imbue (on hit effect, and crit) on the first hit.

So on my test, the power can crit, and calcules it every round while if you use the adv it stills with no crit. Also, with the adv, it dont apply on hit effects

Hmm... stealth fix by the devs then. Sneaky buggers.

The Imbue Crit with Malevolent Manifestation is not "considered a crit;" it doesn't display "Critical!" with the damage calculation, the damage should just be increased by the amount of your critical severity for the entire duration.

This is how Imbuing Sigils works, so I would be very surprised if it worked any differently with MM.

Since MM spawns a separate entity, there's no reason for it to use ONH devices.

I had forgotten about the unmarked crit. That makes more sense than what I suggested!

Yep I can confirm as well that imbue does indeed crit malevolent manifestation even though it doesn't show.

You can easily see the damage difference(numbers get bigger with each tick) when you use malevolent manifestation with and without imbue.

Same with sigils and all other uncontrolled damage tools. Your buffs affect them, so my dex ego sigils sometimes go from 1500 damage to 4000 damage.
