The main stats for my fire hero is pres/int, and would like to know which of the crafting skills I should go for?

Thank you.

I'd say Mystic. Forget about gear - it's mostly useless compared to what you find, and you can get what you need from other players in the Auction House or just by asking (it's pretty easy to max out crafting).

Mystic has two notable benefits for Fire
1. Whenever you open a Mystic component in the open world, you get am energy boost for 5 minutes. This can give you a nice high equilibrium - good news for your high-energy fire maintains.
2. You can craft some devices at high levels that let you summon pets. These can be really convenient vs bosses and other tough content. Get them to target your pets and you're free to scorch earth.

Thanks for your reply.

I chose "avatar" under Mystic, to go along the fact my fire hero is based off of Icarus.

A good or bad choice?

Thanks in advance.

The only thing specialization affects is the names of the items you craft and which action figures you can make. Avatars, Arcana and Enchanted Gear all make the same exact things in terms of stat bonuses, for example, but are completely different from what you can make in Arms or Science, which have their own respective specializations.

As for the crafted action figures, they are a time consuming pursuit. They don't affect your character in any way and are purely vanity pets.
