Hi,
I think the expander / shrinker is one of the most desired items for those who want to play giants or micro people. Yet you say that:
How will the magnifier (character enlarger) work?
Poz: The full details are subject to change, but the plan is:
•They are toggle powers.
•They don't work in combat. (And shut off if you go into combat.)
•They make you 3x bigger (or 1/3 the size).
•There is a permanent version and a version which has an overall usage time.
Now I don't know about you, but having my giant suddenly turn into a normal sized person in combat (which is most of the time!) really gimps tthe concept and makes the expander worthless!!!
Please, make it cost more or don't give it combat advantages, but DON'T TURN IT OFF IN COMBAT!
I would suggest that making it so that someone under an expander is immune to the visual size change of powers like miniituraziation ray although they may still get buffed/debuffed. This allows for a consitent look and feel without unbalancing the game.
GIVE ME MY GIANT!

I am not much into this devices, but I would say they just need to set max and min size after scaling. It would be cool the super giant people(Grond size), but it has to be limited to RC at MC, since it could get annoying if they are everywhere.

So, you didn't ask one question about WHY those restrictions are there. No effort to bargain with the Devs or reason with them. You just thought "hey, I'll demand it be otherwise, becuase, you know, they haven't thought about this at all in the nearly a year since they disabled the EALI."
They know people want it always on. I supposed adding one more voice to that might be the magic tipping point, but really, there's probably a bit more intel to be gathered before making a case based on nothing more than "gimme!"

Pretty sure they said they would turn off in combat because size can be used to grieve a bit. You can limit LOS, block other targets, etc. How about I use a shrinking device, my buddie uses a Giganta device, and we team PvP against others. His size effectively hides me while he tanks, and I shoot with relative safety from between his legs. Sure, it's a bit awkward of a view for me, but as long as he has no sudden gas attacks, I can fire away.
Or something like that.
Or something like that.

When you grow, your combat reach also does. Remember UTC Tech Arena when growth was unregulated?
