Personal thoughts, considered dropping Mind Link for a Dragon move to help with energy..tho dunno if that'll be a problem. Only put Min Link in for lack of knowing something better.

I really recommend you pick up a lunge. I don't really know what you're wanting to do with the build (PvE? PvP? Specific lairs?) but there are some powers you could afford to trim out for other stuff. I run Vesper with just ebb, frenzy, and annihilation. I've found the damage on ego weaponry to be pretty meh, and if you grab a lunge you don't need it as a crippling carrier. Lately I've also found that Svengali's Guile's a little on the less-cool-than-I-remember side. On the whole though, it looks pretty solid.

You'll like life a lot more if you get a lunge. And if you're PvPing, put crippling and nailed on it. <3

An active defense such as Masterful Dodge would be a nice addition.

For greater survivability you might consider:

Dex/Con SS with Ego supported through Talents/Gear. You should be able to get your Ego up into the 150 range that way. You'll not lose much damage and will gain a ton of health.

So..edited according to suggestions, Weaponry unfortunately HAS to be taken or the build doesn't work as wanted due to power reqs -.-


Put the disable on and CC TBL because really I don't plan to PvP until 40 so I can just float Disable/NTG rather cheaply. Basicly I intend to use it to help with those annoying mobs that like to block, like the Base Commander/Air Cavs in SL for example. I'm actually quite good at using Teleport in place of a lunge on a melee build for PvE hence TBL bein so far off and again don't plan to PvP til 40. Went Dex/Con and picked up Conviction for obvious reasons. Nice idea Ashen thanks

If you're just doing PvE until 40, a retcon about half-way (around 26) can let you shuffle weaponry out. Are you married to the ego end builder/ranged end builder thing? What you've got looks solid, but I just start foaming at the mouth when I think of weaponry. Which is funny, because some people really like it.

This is kindasorta what I use on Vesper, only I'm using an out of date hero builder so I had to fudge some of the advantages. It's squishier than an SS con build, but I've found I can put out some really nice damage with it. It's not ideal, but it gels well for my concept and the powers I wanted. No, I don't have teleport rank 3. I've got cc/ntg on my leap and my out of date builder wouldn't let me adv the way I wanted. q.q

I'm not married to it no, but if I have to take 1 bleh power to have the rest of my build be ideal RPly, conceptually, AND be effective, that doesn't seem like a bad tradeoff imo, I won't even be putting weaponry on my bar tbh so I don't see the harm. Also, I'd rather the Dex/Con..I know I made a complaint about all my toons bein or endin up tanks in some form..but the only thing I hate worst is having phenomal dps potential but bein too squishy to matter...besides I dislike BCR unless I'm runnin a Dodgemonkey and Conviction fits better thematicly..maybe not so much the animation but the flavor text and name of the power...besides running a martial arts "spiritual" heal on a hardcore Sciencey Intellect personality characters feels..I dunno..backwards.

On a separate note, has anyone went Rank 2/Root Adv on EBF? It looks really yummy to me but I dunno how effective it is compared to just straight R3 EBF, nor the damage differential, yes it's easier to melee stuff if it can't move, but if one maintain kills stuff no point in worryin bout makin it stay still

For larger crowds, I went with EBF R3 as it seemed more imperative to kill quicker, than root.
For Bosses, I use EBB
Is Annihilation worth it? Should I rank that up to R3?

I was always told Annih 3 is bamf and it's what was suggested in WillBlack's summary..besides I plan to use EBB, EBF, and EBA as my bread and butters and I didn't care for any of their advantages so I figured why not have my main attacks all be R3? From what I've heard EBA is great for legend/cosmi finishing since they're at >25% long enough to survive the normal EBB/EBF onslaught most things fall too

I personally dont take the root adv on EBF because you are primarily using that power against henchmen who dont survive its damage long enought to run away.

Ego Weaponry isnt anywhere near as bad as many people try to portray it. With FotuT and a piece of End on Kill gear EW can be spammed like crazy.

Ive got a build using Dex/Int SS w/Ego and Con from gear/talents that uses Quarry/Fair Game, TK EB w/Adv, TK Eruption w/Adv, and Ego Surge. I use EBB to debuff a tough target then spam EW. At approx 3 hits per second, each hitting for 1-3k, the DPS is nice and can be maintained indefinately since with FotUT my average energy gain per hit is greater than the End cost of EW (I do have one piece of +End on Kill gear).
