Since this isn't "Regular" maintinence, would it be possible to get a reason for the unscheduled downtime?
Thanks
Thanks

actually i have to live on 3G mobile net at home, its very expensive. i can patch at work and copy and bring home which i do for large patches. if you could not only let us why your bring it down, but what the real download/compressed size of any patch is in advance that would be just great, thanks!
please, be considerate and do your part to help me embezzle internet bandwidth from my work. its a good cause.

it certainly would be nice if they gave us a little more info about all these "scheduled" maintenance's. the last one is obvious with the bloodmoon event. but since their name is Cryptic im guessing they feel the need to be so in their announcements as well.
with this one however id be willing to be this is to adress some server optimization issues.

You Know... I don't give a crap if they have to do a quick server maintenance, it just means the game is getting a bit closer to smoothe gameplay (tt anyone?) Besides, the server isn't down for the whole 2 hrs all the time. Last time I was in after an hour.

Yeah, though 3am-8am is a bit more than two hours, hence people curious about what's coming. Or is there some big Thanksgiving Surprise coming, and we find that Foxbat sicced a hundred thousand turkeybots on Millenium City, and it's up to us to carve up his legion and beat the stuffing out of them?

There is also the part where recently the maintenance has come in sets of three (or more), which while usually only 2 hrs can add up quickly if your time to play is during those days.

wonder if they will use it all. 5 hours is a lot. i'm even more curious about the patch size....
