What if force was moved to the mentalist set (as a secondary form of telekenesis)?
Would people be happier or more upset about the t4 change?
I personally would love my Force/TK character to use the Mind Link and not try for"Energy Storm". There are just enough Force powers in set to even get the t4. You'd be able to get the non-blade TK powers and still keep the relative "theme".
Anyone else like a Telekenetic Theme but not want "ego blades"? or want a Ego Blades character without other TK?
If it's just me i'll shut up..
EDIT: Also i'd love a ego blade energy builder.

I think there's a lot of mucking around that can be done with the Mentalist framework. Moving Force is one of the least offensive suggestions for such I've seen.
Really though, the whole Mentalist Framework needs an overhaul. Telekinesis needs to be broken up so some sense can be made out of it. I think this is something Cryptic really needs to consider as a future power pass.
The main problem with moving Force is pigeon-holing it into a "Telekinetic" situation, when Force is supposed to represent general energy projection. I'd like to add that Force fails miserably at this. A set revolving around Particle damage (that isn't Power Armor) would make sense as a replacement to Force.

I like Force so I'm going to say no to this. The only thing Force needs is more viable efficiency with it's bubble explosions. I do think that all the powers in the telekinetic section that are crushing needs to go into Force, especially Ego Choke...
