I got the friend referral last Saturday. I have been playing fine since then. I just purchased a hard copy of the game on Amazon and I am waiting for it to come. When I logged onto the game this morning everything was fine, but when I just logged in I got this message"You are not allowed to log onto this server at this time.". Why am I getting this statement what am I supposed to do?

I've been having the same issue. I submitted a ticket but haven't heard anything. Have you been able to log in yet?

No and I have got no answer from Atari yet either. Unfortunately CO uses Atari for support tickets whereas STO has there own division I think.

Getting same error after downloading the demo off Steam. I really want to try out the game.

Also if I try to sign up for the Free Event it tells me it can not locate my main character.

This was Atari's answer:"Greetings! Are you still experiencing difficulty logging into the Champions Online server at this time? - Cryptic Studios Billing Support"

What kind of answer is that? So, I told them no of course.

Now they have just closed the ticket without giving me an answer!

EDIT: I get to the screen where you are supposed to select your Avatar, but instead of that I get the message"You are not allowed to log onto this server at this time." so I leave and try again same message over and over.
EDIT: It still will not let me log into the game keep getting same answer as before.

"Atari support" is actually Cryptic now - they wrote the whole web thing. It still needs some debugging though.

My biggest complaint is that if your problem does not fit into one of their pigeon whole answers then you are essentially screwed. Not to mention there is not a Customer Support number to deal with serious account issues like screwed up billing.

My friend gave me a referral last night and I get the same message. Have not been able to log in even one time.
