Hey,
So I've just picked the game up and am fairly confused. I learned from previous games that it's a good idea to look at "standard" builds and such as a good guideline so I don't screw up my character... but Champions has me totally lost!
I don't understand how you choose your stats, or how you gear. The game recommends certain stats to follow, but on the forums and other sites people take totally different stats!
Could anyone suggest a basic Ice build? I'm not looking to be the absolute best, so I'm sticking with Ice. But, I'm looking for something ranged, with decent damage, that can CC (I hear that's what Ice does), and survive okay :)
Thanks for your help.

Here's a good Ice guide:
Making the Most of Ice - http://forums.champions-online.com/s...d.php?t=112790
and this:

- scroll down to the Ice section

Avoid Ice like the plague and you will be fine.

Thank you very much for the help! That's more than enough for me to get started with.

I would be wary, Ice is not particularly newbie friendly. It has one of the more unique and intracate power mechanics of CO, and since it's also fairly buggy and poorly documented, playing with it will surely lead to more questions than answers. It took me many months of playing before I decided to roll up an Ice character myself.

Well thank you for the advice. I was hoping to be able to jump in and give it a shot... but I may take your advice and pause while I figure out the game a little better.
