so i have been tinkering abit with builds while reading forums and stuff and im trying to come up with a TK build would like some info on what you think

First of all: why don't you just go Ego Form and stack EGO alongside DEX? The dual blades of Ego Form > Shadow Form at all times (even though you'd have tons of endurance). Also, if you can go for EGO to increase damage done by your ID Blades, your crit severity will be imbued by your high DEX, by which I mean they complement each other like 'bread & butter'.

Note that: Incisive Wit's Energy Form trigger (with dual blades etc.) does combine with Shadow Form but it has a similar effect as Ego Surge, shares cooldown with it and is also temporarily..

It does synergise, your spec, but you can definitely reap more rewards from the intentions of your build!

And ehhm... why would you want to switch to Nanobot Swarm? It seems to me that Spirit Reverb with Terrifying Visage of Shadow Shroud is your main income of endurance.

My 2 cents.

EDIT: perhaps a tip;
You can replace Ego Blast at level 1 for Ego Blade Frenzy to save a power slot. I assume that the unranked Ego Blast is to be expended (no Crippling Challenge either, so I don't see the point of it).

thanks for the input with the current build (second one) i only really use ego surge with EBB i read somewhere that shadowform + ss end would be better damage .

Also when i use shadowform and pop ego surge i have the icons of both not sure if its just a gfx thing or if one cancels the other out even though both are shown since they shouldnt stack

i guess its the war of the Superstats with tk builds everyone has there fav


oh i also have very high ego as my third stat my crit severity is around 60% which isnt all that bad tbh

Yeah I get your point; in this case the ID blades caused by Ego Surge's effect do collaborate with Shadow Form as Energy Form. This also goes for Ego Surge + Ego Form plainly. In this case your Ego Surge + Shadow Form might do more damage but this is only temporarily. You can only activate it once every 1,3 minute or so (unless you stack INT) for, say what.. 14 seconds? And despite Nanobot Swarm it would seem to me that you would end up being too cooldown reliant.

If this is your style however and you're very into severe short notice combat, who am I to withhold you from maintaining this respective spec.

Are you PvP or PvE btw? Or something hybrid mayhap...?

hehe no im enjoying your input buddy since ego surge is classed as an energy form why does that stack with shadowform yet incisive wit not since its basically proc'ing ego surge

also the top build is one i was tinkering with the one below it is the one im using at the mo but its more darkness then it is TK im trying to get more of a tk build then darkness its just a tough cookie to get the stuff that work well together

Ah yeah, forgot to mention that Incisive Wit and Ego Surge have a shared cooldown of 30 seconds due to the Active Offense nature of the powers. It's either the Wit or the Surge you should have. Incisive Wit also has the inherited cooldown so don't rely on many procs in a short period of time.
But you're right, it's an actively offensive Energy Form which can be ran simultaneously.

I'd personally go with Ego Surge because of the Nimble Mind advantage in this case, and also due to personallu prefered timing of Ego Surge if you're really into concise and quick combat encounters.

i see what your saying i may make a TK build that just bangs ego form with the shadowshroud and take psi lash with the advantage to get an ego debuff get ego frenzy and ebb and find some fillers might work well

This idea appeals way better to me. More consistent damage output source (stable ID blades), applying debuffs to your opponent with both Psi Lash & EBB (however I can't confirm wether these 2 effects stack or not) and you might as well take the Terrifying Visage with that Shadow Shroud in combination with Spirit Reverberation. That really was a big positive of your Darkness build and will seal your endurance pool on top of FotUT.

Vouch for that one! :D

Oh and remember Ego Hold! Perhaps you can take benefit of the tip I've mentioned earlier with filling that extra power slot (because of the removal of Ego Blast) by throwing in that Ego Hold.
