The Moon (New Zone)

This is something that many people have been glamoring for: going to the moon. It's already established that there is an UNTIL moon base, and I believe VIPER has a presence their too, but why not take this a step further? Make it in entirely new zone with plenty of new things to do.

UNTIL: SERENITY Moon Base
This would act as our central friendly quest hub, where you would be directed onward to your great moon adventure. A landing pad/teleporting pad will take the player from the moon back to the UNTIL Earth base.

Forum Malvanum: Malvan Moon Coliseum (think Planet Hulk)
On page 148-149 of the new Champions Universe book, it shows in great detail a Malvan arena on the moon. This would make both an excellent lair, as well as great PvP fun (like with Stronghold)
Kanrok the Acquisitioner would be the one who starts the moon/lunar crisis by capturing the hero and taking them to the moon arena.

I believe the existed NemCon architecture would work really well as a sort of starting palette for the grand arena.
Outside of the arena are a bunch of statues of former gladiators, could one of these be Duratok Gorehowl? Please, indulge my vanity.

Installation Alpha-8
Orbiting the moon is Installation Alpha-8, the base of the evil robot Mechanon. Mechanon is an oft-mentioned and never seen villain who plays a major role in the Champions universe. Fighting him in a lair would be something worth waiting for.

Hamazakar Crater, Lair of Revenger
Revenger was a highly paranoid tech-themed villain from the sixties who faked his own death and escaped to the Moon the further plot his evil schemes. He now lives in his subterranean moon base in Hamazakar Crater with his biological creations, the tall, beautiful, and deadly blue-skinned Lunar Amazons.

Famous moon landmarks
The American flag planted firmly in the ground, Neil Armstrong's footprints, all of the equipment that was left there on that historic occasion will be there for us to gander at. Or, retrieve it all from evil aliens for a quest! :D

Mandaarian Embassy
The Mandaarians, the alien race that has had a peaceful relationship with humanity, could have an embassy of sorts on the moon that could act as another quest hub.

Selenus: Selenite Colony
The selenites are a small insect-like race that inhabits the moon. They have low to no tech of their own but are on friendly terms with UNTIL and other hero organizations. Perhaps another quest giving hub?

New brick powerset: Two-handed weapons
Although this would be a massive undertaking in it's own right, I can think of no more appropriate time to introduce giant axes, swords, spears, and clubs than an alien gladiatorial coliseum.

Level cap increased to 45
Going to the moon would be taking this game to the next level, so it's only fair that we should increase the level cap to match. (map does not reflect the increased level cap.)


New costume opportunities
Many a time players have looked at the Lemurian and Elder Worm bubble helmets with envy: Now it the time to have them. We're in space and we need to breath.

New travel power: Jetpack
This is something that I've seen get requested a lot on the forums and I think it would make sense to introduce it on the moon. Maybe just a rocket animation for jetpack back pieces for flight/jet boots/rocket jump?

New Titles
Arena Champion- Beating the Alien Coliseum
Moonwalker- Defeat the alien M1-CHA3L the giant robot (SEE WUT I DID THAR)
etc.

New Enemies
Mechanobots- Minions of Mechanon
More aliens of all shapes and sizes
Lunar Amazons
Selenites
Moon whalers
Moon rock men
MOON DINOSAURS (just kidding....kind of)
