I would like to know if people think this design could work.
The idea of the character is that he has been bitten by a radioactive Scarab(Bug) and he has been given super powers etc. etc.

I like it. Sometimes less is more, you know? I see a lot of characters that try to overdo it with accessories and colors and stuff, but something about the more basic classic looking heroes I like so much more. Sadly a lot of my characters have been leaning toward the "too many accessories" syndrome. :p I've been trying to design a basic common looking super hero for awhile now, but I can't seem to make one I'm happy with.

I can putt my fingure on it... but it does not look buggy enough for me. Then agian I like the Crypt Lords more :D

First suggestion - Drop the shoulders.

Second suggestion - Lower-profile boots. Not necessary, though.

Third suggestion - More bug-like bracers. But again, not necessary.

Taking it all in, I'd really only remove the shoulders and that's it.

What, no bug wings?

I'm no bugologist or whatever people who study bugs are called, but do scarabs even have wings? :p

I've seen that type of bug first hand, they have a shell wings. And yes they are in the Champions creator. Just the horn is the hard part. :(

Now the new version of Scarab is ready. Just adjusted some of the things you mentioned. So let me know what you think of him now:D

He has Bug shell wings on his back probably can't see them but they are there;)
