Hope someone can help me with this quick question:
Are you meant to be able to undo powerpicks for free if you haven't left the powerhouse yet?
It's been a while since I've had to undo a power, but I had an old-supernatral character who lost all their powers (except a travel) and so I'm trying to get them trained up again.
Picked an energy builder and went to the training dummies but did not leave the powerhouse and decided I didn't like the energy builder. Went back to trainer and they say it's 2144 to undo the energy builder pick.
Now iirc that should be free to undo as I haven't left the powerhouse and so haven't 'set' the power. That was the whole point of the powerhouse, wasn't it? You can try out powers and leave when you've picked the ones you're happy with...
So - did they change it or does it appear to be bugged for me?

The last time I played you could freely undo power picks if you didn't leave the PH. However, reading the forums there seems to be some oddities after the Power Patch with respect to auto-removed deprecated powers. I would file a GM report and see what they say.

Thanks for the speedy reply!
I thought it'd be a little stupid fo rthem to have changed from a try-before-you-buy approach...

I forget if it was old or new powerhouse...
I used a free retcon a while back. My goal was to just re-select my passive and travel powers, but figured I'd use the chance to see what some of the other powersets were like
I got stuck in the power house,; I went over the rails in the dummy area. /stuck wouldn't work and for some reason I couldn't get back up onto the platform.
No big deal, I did a "change instance" to go to another powerhouse.
That was a mistake.
I went to the trainer and started removing the powers so I could go back to my real powerset, and just auto-clicked the "Accept" dialog box.
I didn't realize that my powers were locked in (and costing me to remove) until I was down to just about 0 gold.
So I got stuck with a sloppy toon for a while, with powers all over the place.
