I read and heard a while ago that the ground travel powers like Super Speed and Acrobatics were getting an ability to cling to walls or actually run up and across them? We who use ground travel are at a big disadvantage, we meet all the NPC's. It's not only bad enough intertwining your way through the thousands of hungry-for-blood NPC's, they all seem to had that nasty "No Travel" power. With VIPER getting an upgrade, those pesky invisible infiltrators will make ground travel even worse.
So, is there an update coming? Or do we all have to trade in our converse for air travel?
BTW - I has gotten very annoying that every NPC seems to have the ability to shutdown travel powers. Are travel powers disliked that much in the game? I just had to ask....

Those were just suggestions made by a guy on the forums, no official comment has been made about those things happening.

I know people have asked for wall running/clinging and I think one of the Devs commented on working on it...Not totally sure tho. I agree it would be great and should be an option.
As to the Travel Power Removal Issue, theres a thread active in the General Gameplay section about that. You're not alone with that issue. Common thugs removing your travel powers at the drop of a hat offers no real combat signifigance except being really annoying.

Agreed, way to much travel removal. Gets tiresome having to charge them up again after almost every fight. Even suppression that dissipates after combat would be preferable to recasting them.

All the travel removal on NPCs seems in place to ground fliers particularly for melee-strong mobs.
So the easiest balance fix might just be to make them flight removal instead of travel removal. I'm pretty sure there are variables in place that tell whether a character is in flight, so that shouldn't be too hard.

DCUonline will have the cling ability for Super speed so I hope that can happen here.-Not that it would pull me away from the game. Just the fact its possible to add that to the power.
