I just started playing the game a couple weeks ago, and made my first character Technosaurus. Theme wise I wanted to play a robot dinosaur, and thus he looks like a robotic T-Rex, and keep a focus on tanking. Prior to the patch I was using mostly Power Armor powers, which worked, but left me a little disappointed. He was still the technological terror I wanted him to be, but just wasn't melee enough.

Then came the patch and the free retcon. And with it, the new Bestial Supernatural. He's a slashing, tanking machine that I had first dreamed he would be.

The slashing attacks are both fun and effective, at least for me and tanking. Shred and Crippling Challenge, while running Aspect of the Beastial. I can spam the attack for the taunt/agro bonus, while stacking a damage boost buff on myself. Frenzy plus Challenging Strikes for AoE love, and refreshing my enrage.

Oh, guess I forgot to mention that I have Defiance + Giant Enrage... Giant T-Rex inspiring terror across the land.

So thanks Bestial Supernatural for making my character both enjoyable in theme and practice.

Just wanted to add a note. I just solo'd Mega-Terrak at 35- Proving that I'm the superior robot dinosaur.

-applauds- I still find it a bit bland though. But it is a good set, it just means I won't be using my beast character that much. I kind of like flashly powers.....

I've retconned my Basement Cat from MA to Bestial, and am very happy with it so far (lvl 18). When I created Basement Cat, I didn't want to use the fighting claws because, well, he has his own claws :) now he can finally use them!

I like the new Bestial supernatural.
I'm actually using a little of both the Bestial and Infernal for MadCat.
Only one BIG disappointment.
The new video effects for Bestial Fury are lame.
Oh the big slashing claws effect is cool, but it's the body movement that needs to be fixed / go back to the original movements.
As it is, my 7' humanoid feline looks like he is doing a bad rendition of jazzercise.
It just isn't the sexy look I'm wanting for my guy and definitely does not rate with the other cool graphics for other powers.

Hopefully, some developer will hear me crying out in the darkness and fix the Bestial Fury graphics.

I'm loving it, as well! I didn't even realize there was a new set (back after a long hiatus) until I saw someone slashing with their bare hands. At first I thought that the MA Claws set finally allowed you to turn off the weapon graphic. Thankfully people in zone put me on the right track =D.

I used it to make a new character: R.O.U.S. (I dont believe the exist!)

I prefer the new effects for Bestial Fury. That isn't to say I don't think they look a bit silly, but they look way better than the old one, which was 'slash slash punch punch punch punch punch'.

Every time I used it all I could think was OW BROKE A NAIL

The slashing graphics are okay.
It's the body movement piece that looks silly.
Looks like hes on an elliptical exercise machine.
The old body movement was good and far better that the current one.
I'm certain after seeing so many other cool power graphics they can come up with something better.
