why are there 2 level 35 spirit wolves plonked right in the middle of a level 10 quest area in canada?
they're in the middle of "stop contamination of the food chain"
they've killed me several times now and seem like a totally random placement.

And the fun bit is, they have been there since beta if I remember correctly :)

Because they want to hug you and squeeze you and name you george. =) :D

Worse yet, I've never seen any mob react to a PRE supersttted char from that far away as those do. So presumably, they must be chasing other superstats across half of Canada.

I'm pretty sure they just fall off the cliff from the level 35 area and can't get back up. Still annoying, though.

absolute hope you're wrong. Considering where they were standing still last time I spotted it, that would mean the AI for their even trying is broken beyond repair. They were smack in the middle of Rime Woods, way south of where anything that fell off the cliff has any right to be, and not even moving until they spotted me flying by [at a range that nothing else ever spotted the PRE-superstatted char fly by before].

/bug that sucker.

I have personally fixed at least one group of wolves that was doing this, but I think they are getting pulled off of the cliff. I can fix 'em once I get a screenshot and a debug pos (which I get from a /bug).
