Every now and then I accidently sell an item I intended to deconstruct to get skill points. Every time I have tried to Buy Back, it simple does not work. Any Dev eyes on this? I submitted a ticket # 810,622.
I previously (another day) requested GM support as I know if I close the window I lose the item. I got a canned response a few days later basically saying if I accidently sell an item, to buy it back...um...THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!! Really gotta wonder how the support people get paid. Do they read one or two words, and look for a prefab response and move on to the next?

I also have this problem, it sometimes works but it's more likely to just not work.

I will look at this issue. Is there any sort of case that fails on a consistently?
You might compare it to this issue, by checking to see if your leftmost bag is full when it fails to work.
Since the issue remains, it seems to have either fallen through the cracks, or perhaps is awaiting a broader approach for more general and widespread improvements to the inventory management issues that it seems to just make specifically noticeable.

I would expect some kind of error message if this is the case, though. If the system thinks your inventory is full, thereby not giving you your items back, a "Your inventory is full" message should pop up.

Gamewalker, is this working as intended to only have buybacks drop in the first bag? If so, can a message be put in saying a slot must be free in the 1st bag? Though I don't think it should be like this as if I have room in other bags it should drop there.
