Dear wonderful gods at Cryptic, please please please please with sugar on top will you consider giving our heroes the ability to don the spherical glass helmets that we already have in the game. There are so many NPC and even action figures that have bubble helmets yet the protectors of this world are denied their spherical awesomeness.
Purty Please! I've been waiting since the launch of COH 2004 to have a bubble headed hero.

I have a recently-made alt, "Doctor Infant", that would greatly profit from such a thing.

Both Lemurian and if possible; "Buzz" Bellman's (or somthing similar).
On the flipside, I can understand the difficulty in adding these as they have to limit people's hair options and they have to figure out how to morph them appropiately with the body sliders. NPC's are rigid so there's not a problem.

As a matter of fact ... check out this new thread.
I honestly think a Bubble Helmet woudl have to be an entire head TYPE, so that they could directly and separately exclude all the various head options that would produce clipping problems.

Dunno.
Either way, "Doctor Infant" is pretty much SOL, 'cause I really REALLY want a DOME helmet, that attaches to his "armor with vents" Cowl.
And that's just not going to happen, sadly.

I don't see why they couldn't do it like "Face Mask" or the "Cowl" settings. Just create another costume tab with "See Thru Helmets" and set what pieces would be used. Obviously I realize that there are clipping issues that could happen but it's not like that doesn't already happen in game. My character can't wear alot of the boots because her ankles clip through the sides along with a few other pieces that have problems. Also depending on how I move sometimes pieces clip through like my head clipping through my cowl when I fly.
I just desperately want this piece(s). I want it so badly that I'm holding off doing Lemuria on my redone Bubble Girl character until they add it in....if ever.

I've got a character - "Shade of Grey", whose suit is all in whites and greys - who is on permanent-sideline status, until and unless they give us a way to have BLACK, or at least grey, power color customisation. I'd settle for a really, really dark blue if I had to. But I want BLACK powers for him, in such a huge way.

Don't the Gadroon use bubble helmets? The art exists, it just needs to be adapted to a human head. Adjusting your facial looks might be a bit tricky though. As far as I know, no other transparent w/specularity parts exist in the game.

Lemurians wear them. The non-lizards, at least the trio on Monster Island. I was just admirign them a few moments ago. And, those guys have very human (albeit, hairless, and green) heads.
