Now that "that executive producer" is gone, will Xbox development please stop?

The Xbox development effort is an absolute waste of resources. You need to be putting all of your development efforts into the PC side and keeping this from failing within the year. Not that DC Online is coming, but it sure is, and COX still has a very loyal following that you all haven't nearly moved them into here.
Only a very small percentage of overall MMO players go for the superhero genre, and this is pretty well finite and won't grow.
Honestly, I don't care if "The Guy Formerly Known As CO Executive Producer and Destroyer of Hellgate London" had something to do with this, but I'm sure he did. You need to make sure this does not happen and put CO in a downspin after this update that you obviously needed for generating revenue, but were forced by the players to make it free.

Releasing for another platform, getting loads more subscribers, thus money for further development, will mean doom?

we don't talk about members of staff and we don't mention ex members of staff, also we don't say anything negative about the 360 thing and we all meet secretly every weekend and fight each other... but don't talk about that to anyone.. its the rule

1. CO started out as Marvel Online for the XBox, partnered with Microsoft, remember? This game has been dual platform since it's inception in 2006, but the former executive producer of CO only joined Cryptic in 2008.
2. They've stated that they want to put the Revelations expansion on the XBox disc if possible to save bandwidth, and I'm guessing to not have to charge the users extra for DLC (since PC users strongly expressed that Revelations should be included with the main game).
3. The console gaming market is ~3 times larger than the PC gaming market ($29 B for consoles in 2009, $13 B for PC ). And that space is relatively empty of MMOs (i.e. no WoW), so there is a lot of money to be made potentially. It's a no-brainer, considering CO was built to be dual-platform.

I'm guessing Cryptic wants us all on the same server (which I'm all for, myself). Thus, versions would have to remain identical. That means, to avoid ticking off PC customers ... the Xbox system has to be more permissive than Microsoft has cared to let it become, so far.

CO 360 is coming and I can only see it being advantageous to Champions as a whole, more players = more income. Dropping it this late in development can't be considered a wise choice monetarily speaking either.
It would be nice if we could get some updated information on the Xbox version though.

4. The OP is clueless ranter with no concept of software development, the gaming industry, or Cryptic.
Perhaps it was implied...
