I'm not sure if this is a known issue, but none of my champs have footstep sounds. I know that seems like something really trivial, but little things like that kinda bug the crap outta me. Other than that, you guys have the best MMO around and i'll be around, footsteps or no, until the servers shut down.

I hear foot falls and thank God it's not the sound of me wearing high heels even when I am barefoot.

At least you're not hearing leather/vinyl boots squeaking when you're running on two bare feet.

Oh, City Hall...

I don't hear footsteps either. I've noticed certain scenarios will completely remove sound for everything but UI clicks. Generally if I go to crafting stations in the desert area for Hot Sands or whatever.

Sound has been messed up for a long time and I don't think cryptic cares. This game has to be the most silent game i've ever played besides the sounds of powers and explosions.

I hear all the sounds just fine. In fact they have the doppler effect on csound effects if you turn options on. Sounds will echo in caves, sound muffled under water, etc. If your game is quiet may I suggest you check your sound settings. For instnace, if you set to surround sound stereo, and only have one or two speakers, you're going to lose a lot of sound.

Do you hear footsteps? Because I sure don't.

I don't know what options you are talking about that is in game...there is only select sound output and digital processing. If you are talking about my actual sound card settings, everything is set to 5.1 surround sound.

My X-fi soundcard is arleady set to 5.1 surround sound. I have no sound problems in any other games but this one. Footsteps are the main thing that seems missing.
