If you log out while in game the log in screen from within the game does not remember your preference of log in type (Perfect World or Cryptic) nor does it remember what you entered if you select Perfect World as a log in type...only if you have selected Cryptic as your log in type does it remember your username.

But STO doesn't have Champions memory leak with latest patch i'm seeing

The remember me check is not working for the Account Server log in to the Forums at either site
this morning when i was able to access STO forum same deal as here had to reenter everything

so of course i looked for unauthorized account access or keystroke worms...

STO site now PWE Branflakes posted they are aware of error -but i am now gettign this

This is very aggravating as I no long have the same account name or user name. I need to type everything in every time I switch characters. I wish we could access the character selection screen without logging out.

Frankly I am surprised more people are not in here.

I made a thread about this a couple weeks ago. It's an annoying bug.

I can't figure this one out either. In theory, it should probably be stored in a file somewhere: Gameprefs.pref (in localdata in the live folder, not the outer layer game folder) is the obvious candidate, but for whatever reason it's NOT. The prefs file has the right account name. The registry entry for the launcher has the right account name (and it actually remembers). Deleting the prefs file doesn't fix it. Clearing the checkbox, then logging in again with it checked doesn't either.

Which means it's either being stored somewhere else besides gameprefs.pref, or it's pulling it from cryptic's server, which isn't set up to handle that circumstance.
