Has anyone noticed some of the cars have radios blaring music?
Need more of that and louder. Game needs some ice cream trucks.
Variety!

I've always wished the citizens would break down dancing randomly like they had a good song in their head.

The gangs should have their own tunes.
Not just lair theme music but their "Hey lets get totally stiff and loiter like mushrooms" talk radio or whatever.
Something to make everything less silent and dead.

Imagine you go into "why'd it have to be purple" and you hear screams and roars, lasers and explosions and terrible, horrifying things.
You get down to that first room, lights are flashing into the hallway.
At the door, you peak inside and the purple guys are watching a sci fi movie.

Talos can be found rocking out to industrial metal from back in his youth, the 90s.

Purple Reign? Whats that on Poe's monitor? Po...pular culture perhaps?

We need a DJ class hero to bring the funk.
Customize ones powers with a list of samples and loops intead of just color palette.

Can make an alert "Phantom of the theme park" and relive rock history.

Who would take our money and make this happen?

The game does have in-game winamp and i-tune support. So as long as you have one of those programs open while you're playing you can control your playlist while you play without having to alt+tab if you want to skip to the next song or something. Your music also blend pretty well with the things going on in-game too. Its an awesome feature.

Winamp only takes a few minutes to download and if you have music on your hard-drive already, its just a matter of dumping your files onto a playlist and you're done. I haven't listened to in-game music since.

I personally use alot of VGMs on my playlist (blazblue, guilty gear, street fighter, Ghost in the shell, tekken, Romancing SaGa, etc) The fast-paced techno vibe fits the game imo. :D

IT's really nice and handy to catch your Favourite Internet Game music channel to..

The Options Music Play.. gives you a quick Music refresh to if you loose signal

Some feeds though switch and you still have to minimize your Champions Window to see your player to change or reset a feed.

Check your Audio Tab so the Music player you like is selected.. and audio in game volume settings not over powering it.

I usually put my mouse to the top right corner and minimize window to see tool bar and change that way
to the music player HUD then go back to Champions full screen

I generally have Winamp running with some music and some fake radio adverts running in the background, or Dimensional Radio. However the game does need more focus on the non-combat immersion side, such as some more car sounds and maybe different varieties of ambient city chatter with nothing distinguishable in words like in some of the background noises for Sim City 3000, as an example...

The game having support for itunes and winamp doesn't excuse it from having a better audio itself, people have given some relly nice ideas in here.
The game DOES need more audio, music and ambient sounds, voices and stuff like that, I would love too to have a hero with a voice, maybe some variety to choose from. It's not that hard. The only reason to not do it is laziness.

I find that having music running in the background helps immensely, but on every MMO out there I end up having to use my own music. In my case, I use some Winamp plugins to run music from old video games. :D

As far as car sounds, just don't do what City of Heroes/Villains did, and have then endlessly honking loudly at you. That gets annoying fast.

Of course, I might be okay with that if I get to blow up the offending car, but something tells me that isn't very... heroic. :p

This game does feel static sometimes. While Winamp or iTunes might be nice for some of you, those of us who aren't using super computers can't really do that. iTunes isn't exactly RAM friendly. I tried it once and my FPS dropped by 20.

It would be nice if there was more crowd noise in busy areas or more ambient sounds. Like, if I'm high up, there should be a lot of wind. If I'm downtown, there should be all kinds of noise. I also noticed that this game doesn't have a footstep sound, which I found odd.

I think the game needs a "Loop Music" option somewhere. But with how poorly the game is doing NOW I doubt it will be reconsidered or put in. Because of the lack of this option Im kinda "forced" to listen to my own music.

Yes, and fill the silence of the On Alert loading screens. A more appropriate fix is to make sure the correct music plays at all times. Moar voiceovers = moar immersion. Make sure the voice actors don't botch up the script. =P Fix the dialog bubbles.

Fire the guy who did Green Dragon alert VO.
