Aaaaand... with the risk of looking like a necro, here I am! (hey!, if I don't do it here, would have to start the thread all over =p). I've been not so busy on the costume side, but at least I managed to produce something in the last couple of months, hope you like it. And yeah... I had to change the backdrop to the theater, makes a decent substitute... I soo hate the new lighting on the character selection screen.

Alestra - update

I wanted to make this change for the longest time but I couldn't figure out what to do. I always intended her to be a homage to mindslayer/medusa/psylocke. Though the old mask didn't help much, she looked more like a psy-luchadora. So I switched that to a more ninja style, added a mask and scarf and changed the color of the eyes a bit. Hopefully this will be de definitive design for her.

Celestial Concept

And... with the incoming Celestial review (promised after Power Armor) I am getting myself ready for the character im gonna use. For those who know... yup the mask/hood idea its totally a homage to an actual popular game =p, I just couldn't resist. Though besides that I tried to give her an unique spin to stand on her own, with more bright colors and traditional heavy armor. This is still work in progress, though I am not sure what I could change in here.

Oh also... I sort of cheated on that mask, its one of the very few times that "true black" has worked on my side. On top of her eyes there's actually a blindfold... but since true black its such a texture killer, it still looks quite authentic and makes it look like a full face silhouette under the hood.

Caster Concept

This might stay as a concept for a long time, as I am waiting to see changes to the Magic Power Sets. Though here it is, the way I envision a caster within a hero universe. It has a clear mix between tights and cloth, but I am rather pleased how she came out, specially the pantyhose fake on her legs. This is definitely a work in progress and I expect her to change through the months.

Always excited to see updates in here! Three more winners, but the Caster concept reeeeeally works. I can't put my finger on exactly why it looks so great, but something about that toon just clicks. She's pretty simple but looks instantly distinctive, and attractive without looking slutty. I like the colors, and all the elements tie together well to look like something that walked right out of a comic.

Like I said, not a knock on the others... the Celestial toon does look powerful and intimidating, and 'new' Alestra has come along nicely. That mask is very clever, adding the Scarlet Witch-y top frame to the lower part to look like one piece; very well done.

I am gonna admit that my caster concept just came up... no particular inspirations on that one, I am glad at least works quite good ^^. As I said its the way I picture a caster/mage type within a Superhero universe, a mix between sexy, tights and the mandatory cloak. I think the only thing I might change in the future is the gloves, but everything else I think it came up nicely.

Iron Maiden Costume Update

Yup, finally decided on a name for my PA Concept... quite cheesy and predictable, but hey!, works xD. I updated the costume with the new Costume Set, switched the tights and the chest armor basically. I think it works tad better than it did before, as I am aiming more for an armored look this time, though still light/sleek looking. And yes, lol... the hair its staying, I lurbs it.

Munitions Concept

Err... yep, another concept. This one its a bit straight forward, I just wanted to make a soldier looking character, with my own twists. I thought that a soldier fighting super villains would need the proper gearing, therefore why I added armor on her gloves and chest. I like how she came out, I think I managed to capture the badass look I wanted, too bad I can't add tattoos to that style of shirt, or else she would be complete.

Munitions Concept SPARC Version

This one has nothing creative to it, its a literal clone from the SPARC armor design that the NPCs use inside of stronghold. I just liked it so much that I had to make one for myself, with little changes, like the gloves and goggles.
