The best situation is if you have 3 smashs daily and one of them is up

I think I've done this mission a two or three times on different toons in the time before Q was offered. It was rather long, boring, and repetitive. (I like the final boss battle though.) Takes me forever to do (an hour?)...

I did a mission once that at the end had me choose to fight some sort of "Giant Nightmare Gods of Man's Evil (or something)" ... It was another long one.

I tried another of these that had me in a "Nightmare of Future Past"-like world with "No We're Not Sentinels"-Giant Killer Robots. I couldn't get far in that and gave up.

I think these are all Adventure Packs or Comic Books or something. It's been a long time since I did any of them, so I don't really remember, but it was before Q. Are these what we're expected to do daily for Q?

I'm certain I'm "Doing It Wrong", need to "Learn to Play", and clearly "Full of Fail" :D (Hey, I just play for fun, so I'm ok with not being The Best!), so I don't really blame the game. But still, these seem like long time-investments to be considered a "daily" to me...

So far, to get my Q I just do Daily Alert missions, hoping to get a Nemmy or Black Fang. It's slow going, but there ya go...

I'll point out that if you don't enjoy the process of getting questionite, don't do it.

Assume, say, you can earn 50 CPs for an hour of content you don't enjoy at all.

That's 75 cents an hour. You could make WAY MORE at, you know, a job. I realize times are tough, but if you can do more overtime... you can AT LEAST get 10x as much for that hour of work.

Just some needed perspective, I think.

Now, if you DO enjoy earning questionite and it's basically an added bonus, then nevermind. Unless you are very lucky, overtime is probably not preferable. ;)

Perhaps.. but if you are doing something anyway a small Q rewards Bonus to what you were doing anyway.. I think timing the Alerts i had 8000 in not that long a time but that's not much for buying CP..

Problem in time management leaves you looking at offered Alerts and seeing the Smash you hate or haven't had fun will Blocking you from completing you cycle.. So it takes luck on the schedule as risk to rewards not same for repeating an Adventure Pack for a quick turn on Q collection.. and Drifters Missions being limited time helped reap some in that was enjoyable for most my toons. I'd like more of it in random surprise drops outside ALerts.

Yes logging in before the List expires rubbing it and the next on back to back to stack bonuses helped and the Broken Questionaite detector gave a nice bonus..

A really good method by my reckoning is the same as we used to use to farm the SL elite drops back in the ol' days (you know, a couple months ago). Note that this does not actually require you to be on elite difficulty.

1. Do serpent lantern up to the point you're in one of the bunkers. I recommend going past alpha to bravo, since freon seems to have the most plentiful drop. But you can do alpha too.
2. Get up to the boss.
3. Beat up the boss, take the boss' stuff (including the questionite).
4. DO NOT TURN OFF THE GENERATOR. Instead, go to the crime computer and select "leave current map".
5. Give it a wait, or do this with another character. Alternatively, if you've got buddies, have someone team you real quick, I have heard that will reset the instance. I am not sure if an alert team up will have the same effect.
6. Regardless, once the instance has reset, either by a timeout or other means, you can return to SL, and it will automatically put you in a reset bunker when you take the path to it. No need to plow through the crap before the bunker.
7. Keep repeating this, get more questionite.

This method is handy, since it doesn't hinge on running alerts or having the right one up.

Actually, this is a decent method for farming Q, and getting R4-5 mods, and purple/blue secondaries also.
In 2 hours (6 min's farm, 6 min's log on a single toon) i can fill main bag and 2nd bag with vendor trash, 4th bag with mods (including 10% catalysts), 5th bag with purple/blue secondaries and 20 Q boxes.

Half that time if you're dual alt'ing

do Nemcons.. lol

I have to rotate the toons to maximize collection of Ore. Still its a max per a set block of time you have
if i had all my slots full of toons I could grab 12k tops from Burst or Special Grab Burst Smash APB

Harmons not giving ore and rewards low i n resources for replacing Heals its weak..
its ok if team clears areas for Temp PA box loot..

So I guess the Best Way is to complete and Series of these 3 mission things to get Bonus Loot
I get 1500-200 in ore Boxes off of Black Fang Dockside one.. I don't Farm Fang well i guess i do..
Im Harajukucotting the Train stopper one.. its too mobby for me .. i hate buying hero stars if i don't get loot to sell to pay for them..
