Try a lighter, desaturated, Green, and an accent color, like gold, either one of the more orange yellows, or a desaturated lemon yellow. Off whites, and the darkest desaturated blue can help too. Don't rely too heavily on black and grey, or you will look like a dark splotch, instead of a powerful figure.

Depending on the effects of the other colors, you might switch to a "normal" green, if the desaturated one feels too weak.

In that case, you could get some C-points, and pick up the Steel Hawk Costume set. The feather patterns make good scales, too. There is also the scale shader for tights, and the reptile pattern tights. You might be able to get an effect that you like with those.
