Also, Active Defenses don't take a full 2 seconds to activate, and a tank build won't have a significantly harder time than a DPS build obtaining the energy to spam eg. Annihilate; abilities like Force Sheathe, Defiance, and Fuel My Fire can actually give the tank far more energy to play with.

But as for threat, I can tell you it can be pretty damn wonky. Pre-alert fighting kiga I've spent minutes block tanking on a soldier while an inferno is fb/conflaging away, let alone the rest of the team wailing on him.
For the most part however, I don't usually have problems holding threat on my behemoth, though depending on the crowd I may have to rely more on def combo. But even with the added threat gen, without CC/CS I'd easily lose threat.

For some reason, the archetype I have the easiest time holding aggro on, both single target and aoe, is my Glacier. It pretty much always has aggro on everything, even when there are FF tanks in the group.
Can anyone explain that? I'm not doing some sort of crazy thing with it... just spamming Avalanche and Ice Blast a whole lot... have most of my stats in Endurance.... why so much threat?
