Hey guys, let me start by saying that I love the few music themes that this game has, like char creation/title. MC, vibora bay, etc.
But I think there is too little music in general, one because songs don't loop so when they finish you get minutes of dead silence, which is boring and at least for me, ruins a bit the immersion. And because there are many name places that don't have music on them, like most instanced dungeons, just ambient sounds, I woudl love to hear more music, I'm a fan of Videogame music (and a composer too) so It bugs me that there's so many lost chances to have a great immersive music.
What do you guys think about it?

I think there's too much silence period. I recently went back to DCUO and one of the things I really enjoy is the amount of spoken dialogue in the game. Not just the major characters, which is nice, but with minor audio cues when flying through the city. Hearing people screaming and asking for help, or villains making comments while attacking you adds a lot of character to the game.
Would it be possible to add these types of cues to Millennium City and Vibora Bay?

I also believe there is to little music in the game. Long periods without any music drives me nuts.

Recently playing in the Guild Wars 2 beta events, it was nice to hear actual conversations when walking around cities and towns. It at least made it feel the places you visit were alive.

"It's a soldier's life for me."
There are a limited number of voices in the game. You can tell that many of the voice overs are done by the same person.
Here is the call to act.
The powers that be could issues a variety of scripts to which the players could make sound bytes and submit to be included in the game. The really, good ones could later be approached by that powers the be to be the voice of a villain or hero.
Don't know if this has already been discussed, but I would be willing to participate in something like this.

one thing that would be nice would be "music channels" Classic CO, Techno CO, Dark CO, etc. That way, players that don't use the I-Tunes player can have a variety of music to listen to. There are a lot of artists out there that would like for their music to be "discovered" and this could be a win-win deal.

I don't care much for music ( actually play with the music volume all the way down ), but ambient noise is something I really enjoy. Lots of environmental noise really adds to the expirience.

To me voices and the none looped music take too much out of this game.Every thing just feels so silent. If Npcs or even our own character could have as much as a grunt from doing something that would help.I myself would sign up to donate voiced lines too if that option was available. That was one of the main points that I've seen in DCUO that almost made me choose that instead of Champions.:(

I'm playing DCUO as well, and the city there feels so alive.
Even the indoor missions feel so.
I really wish and hope CO will get an audio overhaul.
It'd add a lot to the user's experience.
