Although I had fun with this on a tank this morning, trying it with a DPS tonight was another story.
Fail the mission over and over again, because tanks in the party flat out refuse to tank. DPS spends the whole fight doing corpse runs while the tank makes sure he himself is safe and alive.
Run out of time, every time. Good job, scrub pug tanker!
Although it's a well made alert, I doubt I would ever try to pug it again.

Just PUG'd it successfully. Range of levels (9 - 40) for the characters. We didn't even have a tank. It didn't seem that hard. I also like that it gave an actual score at the end so you can see your relative contribution.

Got a bit lost on this one (whaddaya mean again?) you know that bit after you do the doggy and the final 3 come out to fight. Eventually I found my way back to the action with like 40 secs to go and I believe it was my TKL that put down the final baddy with at most 3 seconds to spare... Coulda bin one!
Obviously I'll be a bit more help next time but it sure was exciting, it's a good fun comic book countdown beat em up style thing and tremendous fun.
My only reservation is about whether it should give XP as a reward. By giving an XP reward this will encourage builds that may not be up to the challenge.
Shrugs maybe it's all cool esp if you don't get lost!

On the same toon (forgot which one so the level and rewards you get may vary, but the difference between the two rewards reamains.)
They won't come in a double count-down alert for a lesser reward, trust me.
Also, that one doesn't count for the questionite quests...

Ran RW for first time last night. Not sure what went wrong, but we lost it badly. Timer seemed way too short. Would have been better with a regular team and some planning or understanding of the mission. Really can't waste time with the wolf and others I guess. Need to use travel powers to get past them and straight to the silo probably.

- Ignore all henchmen.
- Always use TP between fights.
- Try, as much as you can, to draw the "boss" to the new fight spot when it's about to die (saves precious seconds)
- Try to keep everything bunched up, AoE when they hit them all make short work of them.
(This is valid for all fights, but specially the last one where you have no time to waste putting them down one by one).
Now, before it starts, I know, some people don't even need that and can solo it all...
99% <> 1%, you see what I mean.

I think there would be a lot less failures if they added 30 seconds to each timer. I've been in quite a few groups that with that extra bit of time we would have been able to complete it.
Other than the timer, I enjoyed this alert much more than the Green Dragon alert. :)

On the other hand, the voice acting is great in Red Winter, particularly the touch of having the dialogue in the first one actually be in Russian (with the "*Translated from Russian - Ed." note to make it feel even more like a comic book). I have a hard time hearing the first lines in the second one, but fortunately I can read it fine.
