Backstory: Though realms dealing with the Roin'esh and Qliphothic have been passed, legions of rulers and civilizations strived for centuries with the conflicts. Through pacts of blood, sacrifice and lineage, this priestess has been born again over several millenia in attempts to not only grow in strength, but overcome the trials of her home world, Ruk'idor, a once thriving utopia that was sieged in countless wars and advancement. While there were no natural champions on her homeworld, and with the constant struggles of her planet to advance with technology and mystical arts, the knowledge and powers of each one worthy of these different advancements in skills possessed would be passed on with each successful revival. Having each life draw her back into that knowledge and combat she has long craved to see on those that could be equal to her. After several centuries, taking the name fitting of herself to be a mystical warrior of her arts of her long forgotten civilization.

Vor'kura's revival this time brings her back into the same fold as Therakiel, spanning such ages as civil war and strife from several planets in the nearest star. Her whereabouts in the universe have been unknown until this moment. Upon the descent of the Roin'esh to earth, a dimensional rift allows her resting place to be shifted to the moon. Time passes after the defeat of those Roin'esh, and awoken by shrills of a local insectoid tribe claiming home to this portion of the moon, she enlists their aid after a simple blood ritual. As the warriors of the clan attempt at first to make her a slave, she instead showcases her power, besting them as they become her servants, willing from their new found leader to not only better themselves, but follow her to the ends of the universe to the same goals.

Real Name: Dirk Sertuikos

Backstory: Some heroes stories unfold like their capes when they are called into action, others however never get to heed their calling. Upon the descent of Destroyer on the destruction during the Battle of Detroit, Delaikos never was able to fulfill his role. Caught in deadly blasts along with those he wished to save from a burning bus, ended his life that tragic day. Which in some twist of irony was responsible to the near same events that transformed mild manner, geologist, Dirk Sertuikos into the crafting genius of his age. A man who's life started with fascination with machines and working with the land to better it's resources in fewer emissions and find renewable resources. Years later, during a Hallow's eve upon Takofanes returning, this once hero resurrected from the grave alongside those that he tried his best to save. A stranger to this new world he found himself returned to, and now his own leader, he forgoes the living with bitterness and hatred as he was ousted from society while those fortunate were allowed to thrive. The lost souls also arose from the ashes of their home, sharing a dislike for the new Millenium city formed an alliegence with the fallen hero to continue their existance, but with a new purpose. Now he strives with them for nothing more but to reduce the thriving community upon this sediment of the very land he used to protect. The envy, hatred and anger felt at each moment by this new life, crafting his own weaponry with his still functioning mind, despite parts of him always decaying. Using his intelligence to craft not only state of the art weaponry for himself, but for his own undead army to use. Delaikos resorts to using vials that keep himself reanimated until he can bring himself closer to that dream, or every waking individual's nightmare.

Thanks for the opportunity, Cryptic. Here goes my 1st entry; it is my main character Tyrant. On a side note: although he uses Qliphothic costume pieces he is, in no way, connected to such world. Also, good luck for everyone.:)(EDIT: Can't stop having new ideas come into my mind on ways to improve the text...)

Entry #1: Tyrant

Nemesis Personality:Mastermind, classic megalomaniac villain(since nothing beats the classic would-be-conqueror), with vast arrogance and pride. His schemes are grand, legendary plots ranging from a confrontation against entire groups of heroes to the theft of a luxurious relic.

Power set: Infernal Supernatural and/or Darkness and/or Sorcery.(colored red) Tyrant’s trademark armor is a reflection of his vast occult knowledge. It is a curious blend between technology and magic, but leans heavily towards the latter. His intellect has leaded him to develop a keen interest on a variety of subjects, and he has gained some extent of scientific knowledge of his own but his true talent lies in the unknown forces of magic. His armor is in an almost regal attire, but one twisted by the evil in his heart.

Minions: DEMON cultists or Cairngorm's Druids or Nemesis Infernals (Dark Magic)

Background: The Superhuman age bought forth as many heroic defenders of peace and justice as it did followers of evil and malice. Doctor Destroyer, Takofanes, Mechanon…just to name few of such threats. Wielding powers beyond the might of mortals and using them for their sinister purposes, those so-called super villains were hated by the world at large. Since he could remember, Tyrant always had a fascination with the macabre. Driven by dreams of power and forbidden lore he studied the path of sorcery and technology alike. His boundless ambition was rivaled only by his towering intellect but both were dwarfed by his mythic pride and arrogance, his belief of superiority over all others. For years he waited in the shadow, seducing followers with the slightest hint of power and manipulating their delusions of grandeur for his own ends.

Using his own methods he gathered and attained ever-growing wealth and prestige, and created his armor, a reflection of his genius, as a supreme symbol of his limitless desires. His quest for power leaded him to pact with various entities, from the foul demons of the Netherworld to the Aztec god Tezcatlipoca, but culminated with his discovery of the unfathomable realm known as the Abyssal Plane, a world where darkness ruled and unearthly powers commanded the strange world. After extensive preparations he managed to use his accumulated scientific and arcane knowledge to become the master of such dimension. With like power he once again threatened the Earth as the would-be-conqueror Tyrant.

When a careless museum worker drops an ancient relic , Gorgona's prison of two millennium is broken. Using her gaze that turns victims not to stone but undead, Gorgona leads her gruesome army to world domination!

Backstory:
Undefeated until bested by Ironclad in the intergalactic arena, Drox holds a fanatical hatred for Ironclad. Drox vows to defeat him and will let no force on Earth stand in his way!

Name: Kain Sommers
Powers: Gravity Manipulation (Force/Earth)
Minions: Soldiers, Mercenaries

Kain Sommers was a wonderchild as a young boy, excelling in anythign he'd attempt, be it music, art or school. However, his was a lonely life. He couldn't feel kinship with others, there were never any warmth behind their smiles and praise, only cold contempt and jelousy. However, he did get along very well with animals, for their affection was always sincere. He soon withdrew from society and became a warden at a wildlife preservation park. To him, this was all he could ever want. But he was denied it.

ARGENT came charging in, through lies and falsity they claimed the land as their own and tore it up. Watching the lands and animals he cared so deeply for ravaged, something changed within Kain, forever. Cursing his powerlessness and the avarice of mankind, his cries for retribution was heard by something hidden deep within the earth and it granted him power far beyond humans: The power to control Gravity, the most fundamental force of the Earth. With his newfound, awe-striking powers Kain embarked on a crusade against humanity, to save the world from this scourge called mankind. Together with like-mined individuals, he created the terrorist cell Event Horizon.

Kain earnestly thinks that the only salvation for the earth is the extermination of all human life, however this is often clouded by his completely jet-black hatred of human life.

Villain 1

Name: JIM
Power set: Duel Blades
Minions: Aliens

Backstory: JIM used to be a hero like the others, but after fighting tirelessly and losing on the docks and outside city hall he gave up and was tired of always losing so he took a look at himself and decided to change, he gave up his life of being a friendly alien and decided to pursue a new dream....TO RULE THE WORLD!

Villain 2

Name: Krank
Power set: Ego blades
Minions: Convicts

Backstory: Krank is not in the best of places right now, he has just been released from millennium city's very own asylum and is out to make a fresh start on life...sadly Krank doesnt achieve that and he slowly slips back into his murky past of murder, kidnap and other dastardly things. Krank is not to be approached as he is extremely dangerous and the MCPD are out on patrol right now to stop him at once...but will they achieve this...i highly doubt it.

Backstory: Professor Yin Hoshin once an esteemed leader within the Cult of the Red Banner was driven by the notion that he could by the wonders of technology and not ancient mystical nonsense bring the Death Dragon into the world and through it gain tremendous power and maybe have it stomp downtown Millenium city just for good measure..
It was to this end he performs diabolical experiments to transform and augment people, even experimenting on himself. So much so that he is now little more than an augmented brain inside a glass jar atop a robotic exoskeleton.


Submission #2 "Abasis"
Power Type: Telekinesis
Minion Type: Demons
Backstory: Abasis is what happens when a nightmare takes form and ceases to be imaginary and starts to be a reality. Born of the fear and terror generated by Millenium cities people after or during every super vilain attack, alien invasion, sleepless night, terror filled dream, or childs tear born of this anxiety or the like eventually coalesced into a single horriific manifestation... a manifestation known as Abasis, demon of fears.
The more terrified his foe the more powerful he becomes. Abasis wields powerful psychic blades that sever a terrified mortals psyche leaving them in a vegetive drooling state while thier psyche is stranded in the astral realm and tormented for eternity..

Submission #3 "Blackball"
Power Type: Martial Arts
Minion Type: Thugs
Backstory: Bailey Bannerson aka "Blackball" is a guy with a grievance..he hates doogooders, heroes, charitable folks, well wishers or other nicey nice types. Why you ask? because in his mind they don't see the damage they do, they make people lazy and expectant of others to clear up thier messes due to the good intentions of others and he for one is tired of cleaning up others messes. So donning a costume he decided to commit a wrong for every right, righted.. every hero save he puts another in jeopordy. Every bomb defused.. he sets another. In his mind he is righting the balance and tipping the scale back toward sanity..sadly his apparently left the building long ago.

Submission #4 "Toybox"
Power Type: Gadgeteering
Minion Type: robots (or more ideally toy soldiers and teddy bears)
Backstory: Pinnochio wanted to be a real boy..was the dream inventor Tyler Thomas had in mind when he started work on his miraculous robotic invention. If he could prove he could make an advanced sentient robot he could change the world and maybe usher in a new lera of advanced AI robotics.. sadly his first creation, which was meant to be a childs playmate went a little wrong. "toybox" as he was named had an error in his programming where all he wanted to do was play.. sounds great you say? sadly his idea of play had explosive and an often frightening finality to it. toybox then set about upgrading the other tyoes to be his "friends" and play too.. and soon a rampaging army of crazed mechanical toys was unleashed hellbent on bringing thier idea of "playtime" to the world.

I don't know if I'll take part in this (because my super power is laziness) but I wanted to pop by and say that this is a great idea.

blitzkrieg

The one time dictator of a small german sattilite and power hungry genius of mechanical design, Irwin Von Warner created a power suit that would enable to him to become the beacon of terror that all the world would come to fear. The Blitzkrieg series of armor enhanced strength, and durability as well as sporting a sizable armament of integrated weapons. His weapon and his ambition gives rise to a long and sordid past of world domination schemes and a varitable resume of violence. "Blitzkrieg" is a name known to all people across the globe synonymous with two things, war and Irwin Von Warner the villian.

Backstory:

Pascal Kaufmann was driven into criminality by pure desperation. He was bright, talented, handsome and charismatic. But he could not find a job. Then one night in a shady bar in Munich changed everything: Pascal signed up with ARGENT, got a doctorate in medicine and behavioral psychology and started to work as a field medic for one of ARGENT's 'intervention teams'. The rest - as they say - is history: He jumped from one criminal organization to the next, always on the lookout for something better (and always on the run from his last employer). This ordeal lasted for twelve years, before he decided to be his own master now: He founded a mercenary company and came to Millenium City with one goal: Making as much money as he could, while getting famous and influential on the way.

But something had changed along the way: The suave young doctor was gone. Throughout his time working for nearly every criminal organization on earth, Dr. Kaufmann encountered superhumans time and time again. And he HATED them. They foiled his plans, humiliated him and made his life a living hell. He developed an almost fanatical hatred for superhumans, which bordered on an obsession. No wonder his company, Kaufmann Inc., is totally dedicated to one thing and one thing only: Hunting superhumans. Many members of Kaufmann Inc. are former military or police personnel with varying degrees of hatred or contempt for superhumans. In any case, Kaufmann 'encourages' recruits with a good bit of brainwashing.

Champions Online - Create-A-Villain – Entries

First Entry:

Name/Alias: Professor Eggcellency (a.k.a. Professor Celeste Watson)
Powerset: Pestilence/Supernatural

Personality: Crazy/Maniac/Evil Genius, Loves to make ‘egg-related’ puns.
Distinct Features: A large, egg-like upper body, mechanical mobile suit.

Background Story:
(Short Version, there is more to the background but since it's limited I had to cut down some of it.)
Professor Celeste Watson was a brilliant young woman at the top of her class. She was always trying to find various remedies for various greater illnesses. Watson also had a desire to find the fountain of youth to cheat death by helping others live longer. While doing research in an area that was rumored to harbor the fountain she was searching for, a mad scientist by the name of Doctor Fredrick N. Y’Olck, captured her.

Y'Olck questioned why she was there, Watson simply stated she was doing research. He accused her of wanting to steal his ideas and decided to punish her for 'schemes' against him. Y'Olck placed her in one of his inventions, the Egg-Cellerator 2.0 which is a chamber with room for one person to stand in and is supposed to transform a living being (i.e. a human) into an egg.

Although, in the middle of the transformation, a group of renegade heroes got word of Y'Olck's evil plans and ended up in a battle within his lab which caused a huge explosion. After she barely escaped with her life, she worked hard to make a robotic suit so she may be a bit more mobile, but gradually she became a villain due to her sanity fading away. She made a vow to destroy all heroes within the world, and to this day Professor Watson goes by the alias of Professor Eggcellency, and she blames those heroes who did not save her in time.

Second Entry:

Name/Alias: Cardinal Carnage (a.k.a. Molly Zimmerman)
Powerset: Bare hands
Minions: Ninjas
Personality: Dark/Mysterious/Violent
Distinct Features: Dark red and black coloring, tights with wing-like attachments upon her arms, her ‘hands’ are formed as blades, glowing green eyes.
Mentor: Luther Black
Background Story:
Cardinal Carnage wasn’t always like she is now; prior to their villainy, they were a normal gal with normal goals in life. However, she didn’t have the best childhood, and growing up her name was Molly Zimmerman. Molly was a shy girl, and for good reason. Her parents were always fighting and it was a harsh life for a young child to deal with. She had to take care of herself most of the time and while coming back from an errand, she found out that her father killed her mother.

Something snapped in Molly that day, and while she wasn’t too fond of her mother, she knew that her mother was just as frightened by her father as she was. The young girl decided to take it upon herself to find the murderer, and she searched high and low. It almost seemed hopeless until one day she got a huge tipoff to his whereabouts.

Molly tracked her father down into an old, abandoned warehouse, but soon found out there was a lot more going on than she bargained for. Demonic figures surrounded the place faster than she could blink, and soon the young girl was lost amongst the shadows. Now she has changed into a being with demonic traits, and can only be satiated by spilling the blood of the innocent.
