Rage! Maybe I'll have better luck when I get to Japan. Could be this Korean internet, but as fanatical as they are about gaming, I doubt it (see Korean couple starve baby while playing Starcraft). Until then I'll keep battling and dying and raging at my keyboard and shaking my fist at my moderately pricey HP. The game and community is still fun tho'. Fight on Xena!

1. What map are you seeing the message on? 2. Are you on a team? 3. How long does the message display for? 4. Are you able to resume play after the message stops displaying or are you disconnected from the server? A few other things that will help track down this issue is seeing a nettiminggraph and ping -t results. To get the nettiminggraph, do the following: 1. Run Champions Online 2. Type "/nettiminggraph 1" into the chat field 3. When you see the "Server Not Responding" message, please take a screenshot using using "/screenshot_ui" 4. Attach the screenshot to this thread To get your ping -t results, do the following: 1. Run the command window 2. Type "ping -t www.google.com" at the prompt. 3. Copy and paste your results here. I thank you in advance for your help hunting down this bug! PWC |
Hrm my screenshot got busted as it defaulth saves in TGA.... might try a other one at a later time. but right Now there is lag in MC zones 1 2 3 and 4 . server not responding messages. my google ping is 27ms.
the screenshot i did make shown a larger zone chat window whit about every line of it asking if others have lag by different players.
for me personal, Every single day in MC lately is laggy (slow server response) , rubber banding ( jumping back to a previous spot. and server not responding messages.
right now at the time I write this the server is on its lowest population being completely outside any prime time (europe/us)
Canada, Dessert, vibora bay or lemuria have never show me the same messages / lag.
MC lag is slowly only increasing for the past..hmm two weeks ?, and has reached the point that for many players MC zones sometimes become unplayable to play in.
your command does not work ingame btw so cant use that.
I am getting severe rubber banding and ocaisonal server not responding after the patch.
Occurs in all zones, worst zones is millenium city . The least impacted zones are small instances.
Frame rate is not fluctuating.
On net graph, ping fluctuates between 150 to 250 on average. When the rubberbanding occurs, ping spike spikes into the 1000's.
With /netgraph 1 I see send staying in the 20 to 40 range. Then spiking to the 100's. Recieved fluctuates wildly... with latency's reported from 150 all the way to 5000. Tjhe latter spikes promt server not responding.
Latency to all my favorite FPS servers is normal, no impaired conectivity. I rung ping to google.com and other domains with >50 ms returns and no packet loss.
Do you have a gatewaye router I can ping or tracert to that does not drop snmp traffic silenlty? I found your net test tool from release (see: thread with GM from fall 2009)
If you want I have the screen shot of it as per the ancient post... If you'd like it.
Please adress this issue ASAP. I cannot reliably play since the patch.

In netgraph, my ping goes from 190 to 600 at times.. with occasional spikes of 1500... and the green bars go from a low grassy line into giant blocks of green. Nasty, nasty spikes that prevent changes to my chat from taking effect, causing me to teleport back through several buildings.. and through the floor.
1. What map are you seeing the message on? Ren Centre #2
2. Are you on a team? No.
3. How long does the message display for? Again, no message.
4. Are you able to resume play after the message stops displaying or are you disconnected from the server? I was disconnected once. All the other times and far more critical are the giant lag blocks impairing gameplay.

Finaly was able to catch a good netgraph spike ( not very hard having those spikes every 5 seconds now... )

Either team or no team, i get around 14 of these / minute, especially on Millenium City.. The rest of the areas are just laggy and rubberbanding is an issue..
Without a team, or with team it's the same issue..
The message stays for 9 to 15 seconds in my case, with or without the proxy..
Gameplay resumes alright, but for a few seconds..

I was seeing this periodically in Millenium City, on a level 14 character near the center of town. The lag is so bad that I cannot move my character -- I walk one direction, get this message, the message goes away, wait another 20 seconds and end up exactly where I started.
Almost all of my characters are in M.C. but I hear other zones have the problem too so considering my time estimate is in days to get out of M.C., I won't bother until it's fixed.
