Resurgeance and Chi Resurgeance. You can cast chi resurgeance with gives an HoT for 12 seconds and basically chain cast it after 12 seconds for marginal endurance. As far as regen, starts out fine pre 20, post 20 starts getting hammered since spike damage starts coming more steadily, making a regener turtle a heck of a lot more. And of course, enemies have more ways to break turtles to, so turtling isn't always goign to save you, and legendaries and cosmics will flatten a regener quite easily.

The thing to remember is that at higher levels your passive does not provide enough survivability by itself so you have to add something. Regen heals over time so the best way to improve it's effectiveness is to increase your damage resistance, and only I can only think of 1 damage resist power that still lets you attack.

Invul on the other hand is damage resist(LR also counts here) so you need a heal and there are currently almost a dozen different viable options with more on the way in celestial. Ego spirtes---slave mentality, bountiful chi, resurgence, empathis healing(not so much), psionic healing, arcane vitality, circle of primal dominion, etc.

And there is the problem that i see with all passives, offensive and defensives. Regen for example works perfectly fine no matter what your stats, Inv works brilliantly with both Con & Str but not as effective with only one and almost useless with neither. LR NEEDS Dex, without it it's absolutely useless.

Then you have offensive passives scaling from End, brilliant all offensive caster types need end... then you have others scaling off crap like presence, great if threat worked properly in this game, but it doesn't.

They really need to take a balance pass on which stats are useful for passives, all this having to take certain stats for some, being able to take any for others and having useless ones on yet more is imbalance in itself.

Threat works fine, problem is those "claiming" to be tanks have exactly zero threat managing abilities to beign with.

No amount of invulnerability or regeneration will shield me from people who don't bother to use the search button. I'm pretty sure I answered a thread just like this, like, half a week ago.

Yep, there it is. OMG, the title is almost identical too.

Invul will work well with a Con/??? build. The Str just keeps you from being nickle and dimed to death, but it's a minor point. Con and any other super stat will work great.

Managing threat is for politicians. Heroes dive in and kick butt.

If that's your view on Invulnerability then you should look into Defiance instead.

The Absorption is the good part of Invul.

And the Invul Absoprtion is calculated last, after all resistances have been taken into account (this means Block, Physical/Energy Defense and the +% Resist from Invul itself). This means hits of up to 400 damage will do 0 damage against a Rank 3 Invul while Blocking, with a Rank 3 Shield, with 200ish STR/CON at level 40.

Nickle and dimed to death indeed.
