An Artistic way of requesting Costume Pieces

I couldn't really decide whether to put this in Costume and Concepts, or in Suggestions. I chose here ultimately since it deals with costumes. I love to draw, and I'd love to see the Costume Creator get expanded in any way possible. Just telling Cryptic, "HEY I want this!" and then showing them a google image doesn't do the item you want justice. Sometimes you can't find that image to do the item you desire justice. For me, I'd rather just draw it out to give everyone an idea of what I want.

DISCLAIMER: For the time being I will not be taking requests and will not be drawing the ideas of other forum-goers. I will be doing my own ideas in this thread for now, but that does not mean I won't do requests of others at a later date.
-As an addition to this; I would love to see new items added to the players for free. I would not like to see too many further items added to the C-store. The more accessible customization, the better!

These two eager heroes have agreed to stop their crime-fighting temporarily so that they can show off the latest in Hero Gear{tm}!

A Head Template will currently be provided as the means to show off current headgear from Hero Gear(tm). The Torso Template is now available to show off the latest chest pieces from Hero Gear(tm)!

THE SPIKY MASK! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJSpikyMask.png) - A mask that covers the whole face. I always want a sort of flat faced 'intimidating' look to my character, but nothing right now available has the look necessarily that I'd want. Nothing with spikes either. This kind of design still allows all the side and top options to have plenty of room, and still would possibly allow mouth options. I'd imagine this to be on the eye accessories list. Where the blue gets a tad lighter is where I'd imagine glow options would be placed.

THE SPIKY CHESTPIECE! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJSpikyChestplate.png) - Who can have a spiky mask without a spiky chestpeice? As more templates arrive, I suspect this set will near completion.

THE DWARVEN BEARD!! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJVikingBeard.png) - The game is severely lacking in braided beards, and this would even the odds. Longer versions could become available as well. I'd imagine 1 braid, 4 braids, and 8 braids would be a good start off.

THE VIKING HELMET! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJVikingHelm.png) - Oh we all saw this coming. The Viking Helmet is a STAPLE in young Viking wear, and I've already tried to make three Vikings now who all failed because they lacked a trusty Viking Helmet like this one. THAT'S NOT ALL FOLKS! Check it!

Some of us wear big capes, and some of us wear small capes. I wear a wraparound cape that says, "Hey world! I'm badass! How about you?". Plus this wraparound cape always helps complete all your villain/nemesis needs.

OVERLORD RAIMENT SHOULDERPADS! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJOverlordRaiment-1.png) - So you liked that shoulderpad setup but didn't want that big expensive cape huh? Well you can get it by itself as well; at no extra charge.
OVERLORD COWL! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJOverlordNeckpiece-1.png) - Maybe you just wanted the nice neck item? It gives you an ominous feel.


THE INTIMIDATING EYE VISOR! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJOverlordCrown02.png) - When I need to intimidate someone but I have this large featureless visor on my face; I need to expose my vastly glowing eyes. But my eyes glow bright enough, they should burn straight through the visor on my head. I'd love to see those glowing eyes, and a decorative visor like this would also help with my intimidating factor. Fits with the Overlord set.

GREAT GAUNTLETS! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJOverlordGauntlets.png) - When my fists feel the need to be badass, they also feel the need to be large and bulky to show my opponents how much they would hurt if the two ever came into contact. With this giant plate of bulk on your arm; your opponents know it WILL hurt when your fist contacts their face. That kind of weight can't be repelled! Fits with the Overlord set.

So I sat there and remembered; what good is an arm without some kind of display on it, telling me the date and how hot it is?

THE HOLOGRAM ARM PLATE! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJHologramPlate.png) - This is something I'm surprised slipped the radar. Some nice arm banded hologram displays let me know just how hot it is and whether the date I thought today was is correct.

THE HOLOGRAM EYE PIECE! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJHologramEyepieceNosepiece.png) - I decided that if I have it on my arm, I should have it on my face too. This also tells date, temperature, and time even. I know in game there's a tool that gives you a temporary holo-eye piece, but nothing permanent.

WITHOUT THE NOSEGUARD! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJHologramEyepiece.png) - Some like it simpler than complex. Without the noseguard you are still stylish. Now in red!

The thing is, I'm not sure it wouldn't end up like Second Life (God what a mess of pornography that place is) -- not only with the goofy dongs and crap all over the place, but with the really slow loading times. If everyone can draw their own armor piece skins, there's no way all of that data could be locally stored. You'd end up with a lot of lag and a lot of fuzzy-looking people.

Still, it's really nice to dream. :0

My opinion is based on my honest-to-God experiences in SL, not anything anyone's told me -- despite how what I said sounds.

I actually put a decent amount of effort into SL. I had a really nice avatar and everything. I wanted to like it and tried to find something worthwhile to do for a month or two, but I got the feeling that unless you're a furry or are into Gor or having cybersex . . . *shrug* Most of the sims were complete ghost towns unless they were for hooking up or for buying "implements" for doing said act.

Though some guy did give me a back to the future hoverboard one day while I was mucking around in a sandbox for no reason. That was pretty cool.

I always wondered why there's no cowls/collars shaped like that. I really dislike the available collars. They're not particularly attractive and don't really seem to fit well with capes, which is sad when you think about it.

YES YES YES!!!! The Beard, and the Wraparound cape\cowl\etc. is exactly what i've wanted. I loved all the ideas, and you sure made great drawings, showing how stuff looks, on different parts. Cryptic, give us this!

I was so dissapointed when i saw there was only the crappy capes, and no real "evil" cape option, like the Wraparound.

Overlords aren't overlords without a proper crown. But why should they have to show off their glowing eyes by exposing their face? No, the proper overlord believes that their eyes should shine through their visor as to intimidate their non-overlord foes.

I like it as well. My first request for the "what sets do you want" was ghost/transparent pieces. I'd love to see an entire body including armor made of this stuff....

Basically, PSI armor and ghost cowboys body.

The Hologram Eyepiece reminds me of the "glasses" you wear for the quest in MC to out Gadron infiltrators.

THE INTIMIDATING EYE VISOR! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJOverlordCrown02.png) - When I need to intimidate someone but I have this large featureless visor on my face; I need to expose my vastly glowing eyes. But my eyes glow bright enough, they should burn straight through the visor on my head. I'd love to see those glowing eyes, and a decorative visor like this would also help with my intimidating factor. Fits with the Overlord set.

GREAT GAUNTLETS! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJOverlordGauntlets.png) - When my fists feel the need to be badass, they also feel the need to be large and bulky to show my opponents how much they would hurt if the two ever came into contact. With this giant plate of bulk on your arm; your opponents know it WILL hurt when your fist contacts their face. That kind of weight can't be repelled! Fits with the Overlord set.

So I sat there and remembered; what good is an arm without some kind of display on it, telling me the date and how hot it is?

THE HOLOGRAM ARM PLATE! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJHologramPlate.png) - This is something I'm surprised slipped the radar. Some nice arm banded hologram displays let me know just how hot it is and whether the date I thought today was is correct.

THE HOLOGRAM EYE PIECE! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJHologramEyepieceNosepiece.png) - I decided that if I have it on my arm, I should have it on my face too. This also tells date, temperature, and time even. I know in game there's a tool that gives you a temporary holo-eye piece, but nothing permanent.

WITHOUT THE NOSEGUARD! (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/Valcron/BJCJHologramEyepiece.png) - Some like it simpler than complex. Without the noseguard you are still stylish. Now in red!
