My toon is level 37 and unfortunately being non end superstat, my max energy is only 160. I wanted to take a circle of primal dominion or smoke bomb, but they cost 190 energy to activate. Why does it take so much energy? Bug?
My other toon which is also not Intel superstat only cost 45 energy for circle. Doesn't seem to make sense to me. I will be most grateful if someone could explain it.
Thanks

I can't speak for Smoke Bomb, but Circle of Primal Dominion's cost is based on your equilibrium which is linked to Recovery. I'm assuming your character has high Recovery, or even super statted Recovery?

Smoke bomb takes your entire equilibrium of energy to use.
If your equiv is at 65, it'll cost 65, and if your equiv is at 200, it'll cost 200.

Circle of Primal Dominion is absolutely bugged, badly. Smoke bomb might suffer from the same bug.
As of the latest patch it always requires slightly more then your equilibrium. If your Recovery is higher then your Endurance then it is IMPOSSIBLE to cast Circle of Primal Dominion. Even with 300 endurance if your recovery is higher it'll demand 300+ energy to cast.
Smoke bomb takes your entire equilibrium of energy to use.
If your equiv is at 65, it'll cost 65, and if your equiv is at 200, it'll cost 200.
I don't know about Smoke bomb, but if your equiv is 65 then circle will require ~67 to cast. At 200 it'll cost ~210, etc.
