Kevin is now the leader of the Purple Gang in Millennium City. His network of spies is constantly watching PSI, and the rest of what goes on in Millennium City. Kevin himself took to being a member of a street gang with incredible ease. His force powers made it very easy for him to take over the gang. In fact, all of his gang members are incredibly proud of him and his special abilities. With his new resources, his intelligence, and his force powers, Kevin fully intends to take out Medusa and Psimon, and take over Mind Inc.

So...
If his profile lists Munitions as his power, why does he use Force in game?

*thud*
dang... The facepalm that they are having the Cryptic office can be heard across the globe.
Usually Chat just skim through the profiles but this time the fact that he apparently is using munitions made Chat read it all.
Give him a free Retcon or something. :D

Kevin Poe is one of the better characters in Champions Online, I would like it very much if later on in the game there is a mission where you team up with Kevin Poe and do something heroic. I'm not saying he turns over a new leaf entirely, but I could never see Kevin Poe as an evil person. He's just angry and wants to take revenge for his father. Having him be an ally for a mission, or maybe even have a whole mission line where you help him accomplish something would be really cool. Kevin Poe felt, from the very beginning, that he would be one of those video game villains who sees the error of their ways and eventually comes to be a powerful ally.

And monkey's may fly out of my bottom :D (but probably won't)
Poe, Blatantly uses force not munitions, I wish he DID use munitions then I wouldn't have been blown around the room like a bottom burp in a tornado on over a dozen of my 28 alts.
His holds and knockboacks are very annoying and definitely not from any gun :p if they are psychically guided bullets then poor Poe deserves some animations of his own to make it look that way.

I think he had one. That's why he's using Force. ;)

Does this make the game non-canon in relation to the biographies, or the reverse?
After the confusion over power choices for the Undead Heroes not matching their descriptions in the fluff, are we meant to assume that we are dealing with two parallel universes here?

I kind of liked the halfpint Kevin Poe when fighting him in the sewers, he was a tough cookie.
I still can't get the feel how he could be the head of the purple gang though.

Well seeming as everyones already pointed out the big woopsie of this profile I thought I would point out a little one.
Beginning of the second paragraph...
"he didn’t real understand how different he was"

Any way we can start getting some information like this actually attached to the mob information ingame?
I mean....it's kind of lame to check a mobs info and see "Default Critter Description" or whatever lame crap you guys have in there right now.
Seriously...."Default ,we haven't done this crap yet, Description" is pretty lame.

I'm thinking....no.
Developer who plays the game. That's a good one.

A developer who writes is an even better one.
Here's a hint: Developers don't typically do the writing.

Hey folks, we're working on getting the information fixed and corrected. Our writers for the website are indeed separate from the ones in-game, so there was a clear disconnect this time around for both sets of lore. We'll fix it ASAP. Thanks for pointing it out!

Profile's been properly updated. We've strayed away about from official Champions lore in Champions Online, which is why these disconnects sometimes happen. Apologies to all!

What about when the lore in-game contradicts the content in game?
Like Vigil using Sorcery and casting circles instead of being a mutant with laser-like blasts?
Or Radion using standard blue electrical attacks instead of having radiation powers?
Or Vanguard being a skinny archer who supposedly stopped an asteroid from hitting earth with his strength?
Or how about Lemurian Dark Sorcerers using electric attacks and Lemurian Ionic Sorcerers using darkness attacks?

There are two realities at work here.
One is the one Cryptic thought they gave us, which even has the extra bank space you can buy.
And the one we play in, where there isn't any extra bank space to buy even though the devs said I thought that was in?
lol.
Take it with a grain of salt, the lore, profiles, and even some of the tooltips seem to be made for a different version of the game oO........

And they sure as hell don't communicate with the people who do, apparently.
But hey, that got corrected.
At least they didn't nerf Kevin Poe by making him Munitions instead of Force, he's a fun fight.

Huh, so Kevin Poe in the PnP lore was munitions?
That's interesting.
for what it's worth I think he's better off the way he is in game.
I think it would have seemed odd if Kevin Poe was munitions with his dad being psychic and all.
