Hello, I recently started playing this game and was wondering how the PvE works. I come from WoW, and in wow there is something called raiding. (large groups of people working to take down bosses), In things called instances/raids, I was just wondering if there is something similar to that in this game.

Sure there is, there's alot of 5 main instances and also alot of major open world stuff with cosmic villians that you really need a good group to hope to take out, even then be prepared to die:).

The majority of the PvE in this game consists of missions that occur in the open world, with instances for Super Villains. There are Open Missions in which you must complete a set number of tasks and anyone can participate. Then as the previous poster said, there are Lairs, which range from 1 person to 5 man teams. Additionally, there are a number of Legendary/Cosmic Villains that require a number of heroes to assist in taking them down.

Additionally at level 25 you can create your first Nemesis and this involves a mixture of open world and instance missions.

Then at level 40, there are Unity missions, which are daily, I believe.

More information can be found here.

You won't find multi-team raids in CO, though. Not even tiny little WoW-sized ones, much less proper 60-man content like there was in EQ.

That's just not the focus here.

Lmao...I like how the OP stated things. There are these events called Raids in things called Instances...

Its like the OP discovered some primative tribe that also uses computors! Sorry, just an observation I thought was funny.
