No one has ever been able to find his hiding place. He has risen to fight a few times since then, but those who know the measure of his strength believe none of those attempts were sincere. Instead, they believe that he has been testing the strengths of his superheroic enemies and learning more about how the world has changed since the days he ruled.
Someday, Takofanes will rise again and battle in earnest. When that day comes, no one will be safe.

Dang you oil drilling, why must you always unleash the unspeakable horrors locked in hidden faults beneath the earth? I can't wait to try that out at the next oil drilling protest. "No New Drilling, Do not disturb the natural Cthulhu habitat!" :p

Skin tougher then leather and should be needing a Metro Museum Pharaoh sample to train my Wolfs to look for a similar smell..

It's Nega Clause! Santa's evil half brother, Tupilaq, from an unholy union between Santa's dad, and Sedna on the back seat of a kayak. Tupilaq, thought to be forever buried by Inuit Shaman in the Alberta tar sands, is released by the government's over generous grant program, Fuel for Bigger Car's. Those damn Canadians, and there greed for black gold released the fury of Tupilaq on the world. Every Winter Fest he shall rise, and turn good little boys and girls presents into coal, hockey pucks into cookies, and beer into milk! The horror! *shakes fist at Alberta, and wonders what will be released from Newfoundland's oil fields on April 1st*

You'd think that with all the horrors that have been unleashed upon the world because of goverments drilling for oil..that they would have learned their lesson by now. :p
