Server Disconnects

I can barely log in at all over the last few days it seems. Either the game gets hung up before it gets to the character select screen, or it'll stop and disconnect with about 10% of the zone left to load, or if it DOES let me log in I'll frequently disconnect soon after.

Also, it's VERY annoying that there's no way to cancel out of a failed load, and the game seems to want to take five minutes or more with each attempt. I end up quitting the game via the task manager.

I've set my proxy in the launcher to "US" (it was set to "None", dunno if it matters), and I've done a force verify several times.

Anyone else having this problem? Seems like it's only since the last patch. My internet connection seems fine.

Yeah, I'm getting that too. I also notice that the website is loading a lot slower than others in my browser. Sometimes the game runs absolutely smooth, and then other times I'm rubberbanding badly. Some of my friends seem to have no problems though -- maybe it's a regional issue? I'm playing from Montreal.

At first it seemed like the problem was worst around the evenings (say, between 8pm and 3am EST) but I find I'm disconnecting quite frequently in the daytime too now. Problem doesn't seem to be on my end, since every other internet application appears to be working just fine.

[Edit] Just saw a bunch of threads on this in the "PC and Technical Issues" forum. This thread (http://forums.champions-online.com/showthread.php?t=77541) seems to offer a potential fix for ya.
