Are these names from other CoH players or CoH NPCs? Statesman is still a no-no even though its a different game, for example.

It might help if you told us the names. I'm sure the problem is the changed names were copyrighted in some fashion.

That's news to me, I've got a character here that's got the same name and generally the same costume as a character of mine from CoH. I wonder if I'll have to force myself to rename someone...decisions decisions.

Sorry, nevermind, the forced rename was infact a copywrite, but, some of the SG have gotten tells from ex coh saying they are going to report for taking a name from lets say CoH virtue server.

So, yeah, nevermind. First rule of internet, get facts before I post.....

Or was it go off half informed in a fit of rage typing.....

I've done that, everyone has, so don't beat yourself for it. :-)

As for getting tells from ex CoH players, that is just silly. If I'm going to report a name (and I often do) I never send a tell, I just report it and go happily bouncing away.

Yup same here. I report them and go on happily about my business. Sending a tell is only asking for them to start nerd raging on you.
